Appearance:an impression given by someone or something.. oran act of performing or participating in a public event.. Oxford dictionary

appearance, in philosophy, what seems to be (i.e., things as they are for human experience).

Appearance:Simply how someone looks is appearance.Good appearance : One that pleases our sight.Bad appearance: unpleasant sight.A person makes their first impression of someone in three seconds. If you appear unkempt and wrinkled, someone is going to think that you do sloppy work. If you dress as a professional, your first impression will be excellent.

Why is appearance important?It determines how people perceive you.May affect peer relationships and productivity.Relates to the career field that you are employed in.

Personal Appearance:Personal appearance is a part of communication and presentation skills.When you are speaking in public you may be representing yourself.

Personal appearance includes:Facial Expression Personal image. The real you. Clothes and GroomingBody Language

Facial Expression:A gesture executed with the facial muscles .

Clothes and Grooming:

Body Language:Only as less as 15% is expressed with words ,more than 50% is expressed through your body language.Understanding body language is one of the most important aspects of personal appearance. The way you sit, stand, your gestures and mannerisms and your facial expressions will say far more about you and how you are feeling at any given time than the words you are using.
