REFLECTIONS
• This is a simple program- but simple is not always easy
• Having more than one screener is optimal
• Our medical staff were not as comfortable as our social work staff with motivational interviewing
• We did not do as well as we had hoped with the Brief Intervention portion of the project
• We had set up a space in our Student Information Database to record for last year, but forgot to set it up so we could record each year
• Prevention First! Developed a toolkit to help other schools launch SBIRT
