n DECA CHAPTER STRATEGYDon’t miss this session packed with tools and resources to strategically advise your chapter members using mission-based leadership roles. You’ll receive tools such as the DECA Leadership Styles Inventory to help students identify their own leadership styles and the leadership styles of their teammates and DECA Goals, a corporate style goal setting technique with measurable objectives established within a “target range,” encouraging students to analyze past performance, establish goal ranges and evaluate. Finally, you’ll walk away with resources to help you put it all together to help guide your chapter’s annual program of leadership.

n DECA GOES LEAN IN ENTREPRENEURSHIPDECA’s Entrepreneurship Competitive Events are undergoing a major transformation. Learn how and why DECA is aligning entrepreneurship competitive events with the Lean Startup business model. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the Lean Startup business model, outlines of the entrepreneurship competitive events, and have the opportunity to begin planning how to integrate the entrepreneurship events and activities into their programs and courses.

n DIAMOND FUNDRAISING MODELDiscover how you can boost funds in your chapter with the Diamond Fundraising Model. The Diamond Fundraising Model promotes the idea of pursuing a diversified fund development strategy by distinguishing the types of fundraising activities that can be pursued and the unique leadership, plans, and stakeholder groups involved in each kind of funding effort. Learn how to develop a strategic fundraising model for your DECA chapter through a combination of personal selling, events/activities, events/activities, partnerships and local advocacy.
