Welcome to our April 2019 issue of IMPACT, our monthly update on Georgia Tech’s economic development activities and programs. This month, I'm pleased to share our Enterprise Innovation Institute 2018 Annual Report. From commercializing medical devices for newborns to supporting a startup company expanding honeybee pollination, our economic development work in 2018 was both impactful and far reaching. 2018 also saw the addition of a health technology program within our ATDC incubator and a new food safety programas part of our manufacturing extension service. Please take a moment to see the full report highlighting how Georgia Tech is supporting the economic viability of communities throughout Georgia and beyond.

This work would not be possible without the support of the State of Georgia, our many partners, and our customers. On behalf of everyone at the Enterprise Innovation Institute, thank you!

I also hope you will join us for a celebration of entrepreneurship on April 18th as we present the 2019 ATDC Startup Showcase. This year’s showcase will feature Atlanta entrepreneur, Matt McConnell as our keynote and more than 80 of the most promising technology startups from across the state.
