The Heat is up no doubt, but warmth shared with the parent’s community through

every edition of IMPact, the newsletter of VSBM is more promising. This edition brings

some glimpses through the windows of Summer Vacation. Thanks for your continuous

moral support and motivation.

Update on Examinations :

BBA & BCA Final Year students have vacated hostels after their exams are over. Their

Final Project Viva Voce of BCA all years Concluded successfully. Dr S Jena, Prof & Head

(CSE), SUIIT was highly satisfied with the performance of students in the Viva.

Placement Cell Activities:

Placement activities have been consistent. Five in Wipro, One each in Infosys and

CapGemini, Four in TCS CBO, Six in IBM Concentrix and another FOUR in ICICI

Prudential, VSBM placement toll is at 20. Hearty Congratulations To all the Achievers.

Mega Placement Drive held at Bhawanipatna Vikash Campus generated a Placement

Output of 13 by Wipro out of which 6 are from BPTN Campus and the only girl

participated from VSBM Bargarh, Ms SIBANI SAHU,BCA-III, got selected.

Admissions Open & On:

The BBA/BCA 2019-20 Admissions are open and receiving a good response. The

declaration of CHSE +2 Results will further speed up the process. We are hopeful for an

optimistic and quality intake.

Summer Internship Project 2019:

After appearing the 2nd BBA Univ. Exams all the students have geared up for the 45

days long Summer Internship Projects 2019 in different Companies. 43 students have

already joined in 14 different companies. And the rest 13 will start SIP in 1st week of

June in 7 different companies in & outside the state. The Companies are like

MCL,ONGC,NTPC,HIRA,ACC,Reliance , ITC,Jockey, TRL,Maruti Suzuki & Murugappa

Group etc.

Achievements by Existing Students & Alumni:

Master Ayush Gupta (BBA-III) has been awarded ‘Star President’ award, for his

significant leadership skills, by Lion’s International. He has been an exemplary students

leader and organizer with good management skills. Similarly One of the 1st BBA Batch

Alumni Master Piyush Balodia was covered by Indian Express Edex edition for his

unique entrepreneurial initiative EME. Hearty Congratulations to both. You guys made

us proud.
