Immigration is a federal issue in need ofreform at the federal level.The issue of immigration in the US has been and will continue to be amajorpolicy debate foryears to come.
In the past yearvarious states introduces and passed anti-immigration reform policies. Anti-immigration legislation in variousstates took centerstage formedia outlets, political debates and publicprotests. States passing the most controversial bills were Arizona and
Alabama.
Faith communities and leaders across the US have spoken out andformed policy statements regarding harsh immigration legislation.
