The Chinese currency - the RMB is currently stated to be undervalued (by up to 40%) and is currently pegged to the US Dollar. It is expected that the RMB will be de-pegged in the next few months which should revalue the RMB at a much higher rate meaning that investing in property in Shanghai should be extremely lucrative.

Friendly, educated and well-mannered, the Chinese are very welcoming to foreigners.

Shanghai is a very safe city with an extremely low crime rate by Western standards and build quality and furnishings is all built to high Western standards.

Shanghai is the "gateway to china" and Chinese government encourages foreign investment.

supply chain management system, while keeping an entrepreneurial structure. Furthermore, the visit at the Shanghai Solar Energy Science and Technology Center gives insights about the role of environmental friendly technologies in Shanghai

• Impact: Visit at CP Shanghai-As the first foreign firm registered in China, CP had

big impact on the following movement of businesses into China

• International: As Chinese customs and etiquette are still of importance in China’s

business world, but mostly unknown to foreign businesspeople, the cross-cultural training at Red Carpet will provide a valuable insight into these matters in order to facilitate the creation and maintenance of business relations to China.

GeographyThe city is divided into two parts by the Huangpu River: Puxi (west of the Huangpu River) and Pudong (east of the Huangpu River). Puxi is the older part of the city and hosts the majority of shops, restaurants and museums. Pudong is the modern part, and is recognized for its rather unusual yet extremely impressive high-rises such as Shanghai's tallest buildings, the Shanghai International Financial Center, JinmaoBuilding and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.

Climate Temperate in December average high and low is 17-7 Celsius.

Local Currency Renminbi (RMB) its unit is Yuan, Jiao and fen (1 Yuan = 10 Jiao =100 Fen). 1 RMB = 4.5 THB

Morning : Orientation & Explore French concession area

After taking some rest at The Bund Hotel, we will have a mini-orientation to inform everyone the plan and needed information, provided in brochure Then, we will explore the French concession area-the European town nearby where has good shopping, plenty of cafes, no massive crowds, a pretty rose garden and park, and a marvelous section of boutiques for art, custom jewelry, and clothes.

Day 1 : Overview of guanxi-based business practiceLecture by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics

In the afternoon, you will be assigned a Chinese volunteer student as a buddy, who will join in and out class activities, resulting in building the connection with Chinese friends. Further, you will get the great opportunity to attend the overview of guanxi-based business practice course- encourage you understand their unique customs, practices and perspective that make their decisions and behavior different from others.

Day1 : Dining Cruise

First night in Shanghai, cruising down Huangpu River the Shanghai's mother river is a wonderfully romantic experience for visitors to Shanghai. For 3.5 hours takes you up to the junction with the Yangzi River and back.

Day 2 : How to do business in China ?Lecture from CP & The Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of China

Our whole-day visit at CP will be split into two parts; In the morning we learn more about the way CP conducts business in the unique Chinese political, legal and business environment. After the lunch break and a little recreation time, The Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of China will provide us the talk about how to enter the Chinese market, what obstacles have to be overcome, and which methods and entry strategies have proven.

Acrobatics is a popular form of entertainment throughout China. Shows feature a mixture of acrobatics, gymnastics, magic acts, juggling and clowns. It is an art of body movement. You can enjoy gravity-defying contortionism, unicycling, chair-stacking, and plate-spinning act.

a history of more than 1,000 years. Here you will get a

chance to choose to lunch at local Chinese tea house

and don't miss to taste fresh fish, smoked fish, dried bean

curd, glutinous rice cake. We can also take Chinese

home style at Mingquing jie street as a small dinner.

Day 6 : Business rally at Yiwu Commodity City!!

Move into action!

Try to use Chinese etiquette, and all you have learn earlier in this trip to make business connection in Yiwu market.In the evening, after business rally competition, present what you've done. Each importer team vote for exporter team and vise-versa. The winner team will get big souvenir from Ajarn Ed.

On our last day in Shanghai, we will let you have all free day. Just relax and get ready for going back to Bangkok !! We will meet at the hotel on 5 PM to put the luggage into the coach. Let’s enjoy our party with your buddy at Lost Heaven Restaurant on The Bund where will brings you to the heart of Shanghai traditional cuisine. Then, we will leave Shanghai city around 7 PM to Pudong international airport.
