Jeremiah 18: 1-3

1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD: 2 “Go down to the potter’s

house, and there I will give you my message.” 3 So I went

down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel.

Jeremiah 18: 4-6

4 But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter

formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.  

5 Then the word of the LORD came to me: 6 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as

this potter does?” declares the LORD. “Like clay in the hand of the potter,

so are you in my hand”

3. to be successful; prosper

4. a period of thriving or growing

Psalm 92: 12-14

12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,

   they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;

13 planted in the house of the LORD,

   they will flourish in the courts of our God.

Revelation 21: 1-2

1 “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first

heaven and the first earth

had passed away, and there was no longer any

sea.

2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for

her husband.

Revelation 21: 3-5

3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,

“Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live

with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 He will wipe

every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or

crying or pain, for the old order

of things has passed away.”  

5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making

everything new!”
