Sixteen workshops were presented onThursday as a part of Global JusticeDay. The days events culminated witha commitment for participants andleaders to continue to do the work thatcontinues to be left undone.

Thursday night rocked the house with a new way to worship. For the frst timMCCs history, an entire evening worship service during General Conference completely led by MCCers under 35. This next generation created a powespace for creative and engaging worship. The dance-themed service featuredyoungest conference preacher ever, Amanda Ackerman.

Global Justice Day Highlights

Former army lieutenant, Dan Choi spduring a plenary session on Thursabout his life experiences and shahis perspective on justice from a gloperspective. Dan called for justicemany areas of our communities, fhomeless queer youth, to persons livwith HIV/AIDS as well as repealing Dont Ask, Dont Tell policy. He reminus that we need to trouble the water that we are somebody and we deseFULL equality.
