The case study is an interactive interview and you are encouraged to ask questions, seek clarification and bounce ideas off the interviewer.

FAQs Program eligibility

• You are eligible for our Insider Program if you are a pre-penultimate student.

• You are eligible for the Vacation Program if you are in your penultimate year of study.

• You are eligible for the Graduate Program if you are completing your studies or completed 24 months prior.

Winter Vacation Program Our Winter Vacation Program is currently offered exclusively in Canberra and Perth within our Consulting business for students in their penultimate year at university.

Can I apply for more than one role?We recommend that you apply for no more than 2 roles.

I have applied for a role at Deloitte in the past 6 months. Can I apply for another role?If you have applied and been unsuccessful for a specific area within the last 6 months, unfortunately you cannot reapply to that area again. You are however able to apply for opportunities in other areas. Please consider how you could take on board feedback and refine your application.

Chartered Accountants (CA) Program EligibilitySome of our business areas require you to be eligible at the end of your degree to enter the CA Program. We accept applications from candidates who are non-CA eligible – just make sure you apply for an area that is suitable to your background. If are unsure if you are CA eligible, please visit CAANZ.

Do you have a mid-year intake?Yes, some of our business areas offer mid-year intakes. Please liaise with the relevant recruiter as you progress through the application process.

Academic TranscriptsWe require a copy of your transcript upon application. We accept unofficial transcripts, but if you're successful in securing a graduate role, you will be required to provide an official transcript.

Do the answers to the screening questions in my application matter?Yes, they absolutely do. We make an initial eligibility assessment based on the way you respond to these questions. Make sure you are responding to them as accurately as possible and ensure you have uploaded all required documentation.

Confirmation emailsYou will receive a confirmation email once you have clicked the “Submit” button on your application. If you haven't received a confirmation email, you can log into your profile. We also recommend checking your email address is correct on your profile as this is the main reason most confirmation emails are not received.

Getting back to you after you have completed your applicationAfter your application is received we will aim to get back to you as soon as possible. We take time to review each individual application, so please be patient.

If you have not heard back regarding your application, please check the following:

• Ensure your application is complete.

• Ensure you have attached your resume, transcript and work rights, i.e. passport, visa, and English language proficiency result for international students.

• Ensure you have completed your testing within the allocated time frame (see below).

Online Assessment

All eligible applicants will receive an invitation to undertake our interactive assessment. Our online test is a unique experience and should only take about 20 minutes of your time. This part of the process is intended to assess your fit with the positions available at Deloitte and to give you a little taste of what it may be like to work for us. We recommend you find a quiet space and ensure you are using internet explorer to complete the testing as other browsers are not optimised.

When will I receive my online test?If you are eligible for the role you have applied for, you will receive an email with a link to the online test within 24 hours of applying.

• Have you checked your junk mail?

• Ensure you are eligible for the role – if you are not eligible you will not be sent testing. Please note this also includes visa eligibility for certain business units.

My testing link has expired. • Have you clicked on the link to double check it still does not work?

• The link for testing is valid for 48 hours; if for any reason you are unable to complete the test within the given time frame, please contact us with clear reasoning and we will assess on a case by case basis.

You will only need to do the test once.If you apply for more than 1 role, you will receive a testing email for each role you have applied for, however you will only need to complete the test once.

If you have completed the online assessment in the past 12 months, you won’t be required to sit it again. If you receive another test to complete within these 12 months and attempt to re-sit the test, you will receive a message thanking you for your completion.

What happens once I have completed the test?

You will receive an email to acknowledge we have received your results. You will also receive a short overview of your test performance.

Deloitte uses your online test results in conjunction with a range of other aspects of your application to make a decision on your suitability to progress to the next stage of the selection process.

Deloitte Australia* accepts applications for our graduate and vacation programs from students who do not yet hold Australian permanent residence into the following business units in order to augment our talent pools: Consulting, Risk Advisory.

If you are in this category, you must meet the following criteria to be eligible:

• You must currently reside lawfully in Australia

• You are currently studying or have studied a relevant degree

• You will have studied this degree for at least two years in Australia

• You will have completed an approved English Language test and prove that you have reached 'Proficient English' as set by the Department of Home Affairs. If you hold a passport from the UK, USA, Canada or the Republic of Ireland you are not required to provide evidence of English Language Proficiency (which is in line with immigration requirements)

• You agree to lodge an application immediately upon finishing your degree and prior to your start date with Deloitte for either the Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485 – either the Graduate or Post-Study Work Stream) or the Subclass 189 Skilled – Independent if you do not already hold one of these visas.

Please note: Deloitte will be unable to provide any assistance in obtaining either the Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485) or the Subclass 189 Skilled – Independent Visa. You will be responsible for independently applying for and obtaining the relevant visa and this will be a condition of your employment.
