Within this picture there are so many factors that give off the effect that Pete Doherty is rebellious.

Firstly the most of obvious one is the cigarette; the hand and cigarette dominate the picture as much as Pete himself with the smoke drifting towards the top of the frame giving off a care free atmosphere.

The iconic trilby, hardly ever is Pete Doherty spotted or snapped without his trusty trilby this shows that Pete is a mysterious man and he is happy to stick with his own fashion and style.

Scraggy, curly hair also gives off a kind of care free and informal feel to this picture.
