GENERAL VS. SPECIFIC
General statements should be supported with specific examples. Traffic can be bad on Hamilton Boulevard
During the morning rush hour, the exit on First Avenue is jammed. If there is an accident, cars can be backed up for a mile.
Car insurance costs more today than last year. Last year I paid $150 a month, this year I pay
$200 a month. My mother who has never had a traffic ticket, has seen her insurance premium rise 50 percent.
