13. The X Project is an undertaking in South Africa to bring the X back from extinction and reintroduce it back into its habitat. The project began, when in 1955, Lutz Heck suggested that careful selected breeding, of a similar species, called the Plains Zebra could recreate the X.
However, the project could get underway only in 1980, when it was proved that the X was a subspecies of the Plains Zebra. During March 1987, nine zebras were selected and captured at the Etosha National Park in Namibia. On 24 April1987 these zebras were brought to the specially constructed breeding camp complex at the Nature Conservation farm "Vrolijkheid", near Robertson, South Africa. This marked the start of the X re-breeding project. On 20 January 2005 the most X-like foal was born.

This trial was used by Rothaug in an attempt to publicly demonstrate his affiliations to the Nazi party. However, as the punishment for breaking the Rassenschutzgesetz was imprisonment, Rothaug pronounced the death penalty because a witness testified that Leo Katzenberger broke the law after dark, thus also breaking another law called the Volkschädlingsgesetz, which made it a crime if people would abuse the wartime regulations.
The trial made news in 1947, and the world was reminded of it again in 1961.

17. Bernard Hermann was a famous movie film composer. Some of the movies that he has composed music for include Citizen Kane, The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956), The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951), and many other films of the 1950s and 1960s.
Possibly, his most famous composition is called The Murder. Initially, the director of the movie for which this piece would be a part of the soundtrack wanted there to be no music for that scene, but Bernard Hermann convinced him otherwise, and this piece is now one of the great cult themes of all time.
