October 2, 2013 ______________________ ______________________ ______________________ ______________________ SUBJECT: IIEE 38TH ANNUAL NATIONAL CONVENTION INVITATION Dear Sir/Madam The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE) to cordially invites all electrical practitioners who are working in (company Name ) to attend the 38th Annual National Convention and 3E XPO 2013 on November 27-30, 2013 at the SMX
Convention Center (Mall of Asia), Pasay City. The Annual National Convention is being organized to support the professional development and information needs of the electrical practitioners in the country. This is also an opportunity to unite the 38,000 active IIEE members in the country and about 1,500 new board passers from the September licensure examinations.
Consistent with this year’s theme: “Leading the Electrical Practitioners towards Global Recognition”, we are lining up several activities for the conference delegates, as follows:
1. TECHNICAL SESSIONS AND PRODUCT PRESENTATIONS. Listen as experts discuss the latest technologies, best practices and products/services that the electrical practitioner can use in his/her work place and in the practice. Also to equip them with the knowledge and tools on the various opportunities and challenges that await the profession;
2. EE EDUCATOR’S/ PRACTITIONER’S FORUM. Meet with your fellow educators, exchange insights and share your ideas/recommendations on the current state of and developments in the electrical engineering curriculum in the country. Also to equip them with the knowledge and tools on the various opportunities;
3. ELECTRICIAN’S FORUM. This is your chance to demonstrate your competency as an electrician. Be encouraged to become registered master electricians by joining the Electrician’s Forum;
4. SPORTS TOURNAMENT. Unwind, do your sportiest attire and enjoy a friendly competition
among fellow practitioners and supporters in the industry by participating in the Sports Tournament.
5. PLANT TOURS. Visit private and government plants within the National Capital Region and other near Regions
6. EXHIBIT. Visit the exhibit of the latest available electrical equipment, machinery, appliances, personal devices or services which will be showcased by various companies from the electrical industry;
7. FELLOWSHIP NIGHT. Establish camaraderie with fellow electrical practitioners.

The four-day event offers various technical activities designed to enhance the professional skills and competence of the delegates, as well as to promote camaraderie within the industry. For joining the convention you have a chance of winning a Mitsubishi Mirage and you will be able to support the Institute’s advocacy on providing scholarship to qualified members.
