PREFACE:
Project Management is the discipline of visualizing, planning implementing and controlling a job involving a set of multidiscipline activities carried out by a team to achieve specified objectives under various constraints. From time immemorial human civilization has developed through establishment of various facilities for the needs of society like, for giving shape dreams of rulers, for fulfilling desire of human race to conquer nature etc. Every development of human society demanded a team work to achieve a certain goal, be it provision of shelter, building palaces, temples, schools, universities, transportation network, manufacturing factories, hospitals, recreational facilities or any other. Behind every such team achievement lies the fundamental of Project Management which became recognized as a scientific management tool a little over 100 years ago.
