FAIA Sends Letter to DFS, CFO RequestingExtension of 4-40 Order

The Chief Financial Officer's (CFO's) Order allowing licensedcustomer representatives to work remotely is set to expire on May 8,2020. Earlier this week, FAIA sent a letter to Greg Thomas, director ofthe DFS Division of Agent & Agency Services, and CFO JimmyPatronis to formally request an extension. We are confident the CFO and DFS will carefully consider theconcerns raised in our letter and are hopeful an appropriate extensionwill be granted.
