For our first task we went through and summarized the design briefs to see who our clients are and start to think about developing an idea for a professional final major project.

Come up with ideas for my projects and work out which project is worth following.

I decided that my last assignment I chose to do a music video. I thought with the experience from the assignment. I should follow the same path and choose another music video. I started by making mood boards and Tagxedo to give myself a good idea of the path that I am following.

I created a mind map including all the ideas that I may have for a music video. I also included all the conventions that would you would typically find in the specific genres I have chosen.

Preparation for script

I prepared for the presentation I would have to give to my tutor. I did this by making a script of what I was going to say and the key points I must explain about. I followed this up with a presentation of concept images of how I wanted my music video to be. I wrote different draft as I was set with a time limit of 3 minutes.

Target Market

I created a survey to find out who my target market. This shows my primary research towards finding out/analysis for my final major project. I then created a prezi presentation for my secondary research; this is done by analysing music video and looking into the codes and conventions that I could then transfer to my project.

Pre-Production

After creating the idea for my final major project. I then began to move onto the pre-production side of the assignment. This was done through making a script of the chosen song and planning out the shot and a storyboard to back up the script. Then I had to assess the safety of the project with a Risk assessment and a location recognisance.

Production

I then began the recording now that my locations and shots were set. With the footage shot I then began the editing and pieced together the shots to match the script as professionally as possible.

To finished the edit and get feedback from my target audience and then write my evaluation.

Mon W/B 22/04/13(Detailed Weekly Summary)

Writing my evaluation with the feedback I have gained to explain the overall progress towards my final major project. I feel as though evaluation allows me to look back over my work and see the good and bad points about my project.

Finish off small pieces of work and get full feedback from tutor.
