What would you do to change the world?
By: Feroza Khan, Alexandra Vava, and Kirstie Gooding
For: Mrs. Sharma’s ENG 3U1 class
“Each day’s a gift and not a given right.”
Take it in little steps. You don’thave to find the cure for cancer.
But you could help someoneby doing something as simple as
holding open a door for them.“That first step you take is the longest stride.”
“Donate every dime you have,”
Of course you don’t haveto donate every dime,
but even a little can changesomeone else’s life for the better.
Instead of using this moneyfor something useless,
Think of how much youcould help them…
“Every second counts, ‘cause there’s no second try.”
Help someone today. You may
not be able to tomorrow.
Circumstances change. Tomorrow
you might be the one who needs it.
“Would you call old friends you never see?”
“Would you forgive your enemies?”
Everyone deserves to be forgiven. How would you like it if someone didn’t
forgive you for something ridiculous?
A good friendship lasts forever.People feel so much better and more
respected when youremember them.
“Let nothing stand in your way.”
Some of the best liveswere lived by people who were
unsuccessful whenthey were younger.
If someone tells you to give up,would you?
Couldn’t you always do better?
“If today was your last day,Tomorrow was too late,
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?”
All of humanity has donesomething to affect the earth.
Could you live with the guiltthat you made the earth
worse than when you firstreceived it?
Things can try to hold you down, but don’t let them.
Do something today to makea better tomorrow.
You have the power to“be the change [you]
wish to see in the world.”- Mahatma Gandhi
