TO INSERT AN IMAGE

1. Drag and drop image to insert, or click on the image area and

select insert from the menu to locate your image.

2. To reposition your image within the placeholder, select the

image, click on CROP (which will show you the remainder of the

image). Then move either the crop area (by dragging the edges

of the crop rectangle), or the image.

3. Once the image is placed correctly, delete cropped areas of

image by clicking on FORMAT, COMPRESS PICTURE, check

the boxes below and click OK.

Once repositioned, the image will then need to be ‘sent to

back’, by using the right mouse click and selecting this

option. You will then be able to see and edit the text.

5. If re-using slides, delete any previous images and avoid

placing images on top of each other as this slows the loading

and rendering of the presentation.

6. To set the transparency value of the transparent box, select

the box, then go to fill colour and adjust the transparency values

to darken or lighten.

The transparent layer should be one of three colours; Black,

Grey or White. Ensure text and/or logo are legible and choose

transparent layer colour accordingly.
