I have chosen to enclose in the capsule the spirit of my culture that I would like to encounter if I found myself in an empty world with no prior history.

Sports• Teamwork spirit:

- members of a team always support each other, no matter the wins or the defeats- interacting with other people can teach you not to be just self-centered

• The loyal and honest competitiveness

• Self overcoming

Of course, I would also enclose sports I love such as tennis, dance and windsurf

MusicAll music that has lasted over centuries and works as a connector between people, making us feel as we were all on the same tune.

Annual music festivals, renowned for the great artists that go to play there and that are able to gather thousands of people together for

one event:

- Tomorrowland

- Ultra Music Festival

My ideal food paradiseThe pleasure of a good meal. No way that food is not taken into consideration. The following would all NEED to be enclosed in the capsule:

• Raclette with potatoes

• Pasta with truffles

• Sushi

• Thai

• Hamburgers

• Avocados

ArchitectureThe ability of the human to develop the concepts of equilibrium, structure, perspective and innovative designs

Then of course the amazing Italian

“trulli”:

LiteratureThe universal thoughts and values transmitted by literary work.

To be honest, all the literary work, from my perspective, are welcome to be enclosed in the capsule, since they have given to almost everyone nowadays the opportunity not to remain ignorant and the chance to learn about other cultures and traditions and times.

However, I would definitely enclose in the capsule one of my favourite novels, Wuthering Heights by Emilie Brontë.

PaintingArt for its ability to show how history and societies’ beliefs change overtime.I really like contemporary art, as a matter of fact I follow an Instagram page called @popcultureinpictures that posts images of paintings and creative works.

Advance in technology

Inventions such as telephones, computers and TVs because have allowed us all to be connected more easily and be always informed on what is going on around the world.

Progress in medicine The invention and development of the following, that prevent us from being infected by bacteria and hence spread diseases, and suffer less:

• Penicillin• Anesthesia• Vaccines

To this, I would add all the medicines and antibiotics that have allowed the humanity to live with more serenity and without a “survival” concern.

Family and FriendsThe sense of family, loyalty, friendship and trust. I know this might be too personal, but I would definitely enclose in the capsule my family and friends, who I think are the most important among other factors to be enclosed in the capsule.

In conclusion, I think the capsule should be very big to be able to contain all of these elements.
