EASY is based on many years of strong research and successful industrial cooperation at MDH

EASY will include • A research programme in close
cooperation with Swedish industry (6+6 MSEK/yr 2011-2016)
• An industrial graduate school with 15 PhD-students (4.5+4.5 MSEK/yr 2011-2016)
• Application to be submitted to KKS in September• Letters of Intents from industrial partners required

- top ranked proposal in Computer Science (”world leading”) bySwedish Research Council framework grants 2009-2012
… and in 2008 VR decided to fund 3 of our projects(no university got more CS projects funded)

Wireless Communication @ ISS: Tesla and Gauss
• 9 MSEK from VINNOVA and KKS to wireless communication at ISS.
• Joint research with ABB, VG Power, DELTA DT and Motion Control AB, 2010 – 2012.
• Mats Björkman and Maria Lindén.
Progress
• MRTC is hosting the PROGRESS National Strategic Centre for Embedded Software Development.
• The only CS-related strategic research centre funded by SSF (49 MSEK).
