Megaroller Idler Frames For this reason our preferred design for idler frames are: Tubular • Tubular frames provide a stronger structure than angle iron. • Minimum of 4mm steel is used, which increases based on belt size and application. Belt-friendly • Roller mounting brackets are fitted 6mm below the top section of the tube. • Prevents the belt from being damaged by the idler brackets if the idler gets dislodged. Laser-cut components • Every frame component is a high-quality precision part that remains accurate even on very large scale. Off-set idler arrangement • Creates more stability by offering more support to the full width of the belt. • Better spread of raw material and provides better protection for the belt. Forward tilt • Our frames are produced with a 2 degree forward tilt to assist with central alignment of the belt on the idlers. Although this is our preferred design due to the quality of the product, we also manufacture angle iron frames and inline idler arrangements on request.
