2.1 Example 1:Adjustment of existing RFC-Connection from ECC 6.0 -> BIW 7.0

Log in to the ECC System enter transaction SM59

select ABAP Connections double click on B3TCLNT800

choose “Connection Display <-> Change” select TAB-Page “Technical Settings” Enter Target Host and System Number according to your system landscape

select TAB-Page “Logon & Security” Enter User: CONNECTOR

Password: IDES choose “Save”

2.2 Example 2:Adjustment of non-existing RFC-Connection from ECC 6.0 -> SCM

Log in to the ECC System enter transaction SM59 choose “Edit Create” in the main Menu

Enter the following values:Field “RFC Destination”: APOCLNT000Field “Description 1”: <enter a description>Field “Connection Type”: 3Field “Target Host”: iwdf7yt2Field “System Number”: 60

select TAB-Page “Logon & Security” Enter User: CONNECTOR

Password: IDES choose “Save”

select TAB-Page “MDMP & Unicode” Field Communication Type with target system:

select Unicode (confirm popup) choose “Save”

2.3 Example 3:Adjustment of existing RFC-Connection (TCP/IP) in the SCM 5.0

Log in to the SCM System select TCP/IP Connections

double click on OPTSERVER_CTM01

select TCP/IP Connections Program: enter Path that points to the ctmsrv.exe (of your APO-Optimizer installation) Enter Target host according to your system landscape
