MAP

• Mapping where most of the rubbish is and putting bins where

they are needed.

• Enlarge a map of the school grounds. Use a coloured texta and

colour in the areas where you notice more litter than other places.

Use another colour to mark in where the rubbish bins are placed

around the school. You might decide that some of the bins should

be moved or that there should be more bins in the school

grounds.

• Buy more bins to do this if needed.

SIGNS

• Buy signs telling people to place rubbish in the bins.

• School to make a slogan /image

• Place signs around the yard.

• Put signs in classrooms.

COMPETITION

• Each class starts of with $10,000 (Not Real). Each time a student

gets caught littering your class will lose $200.

• The class with the highest amount of money and the end of the

year will get a reward.

SRC

• SRC may consider establishing a Clean School committee to

assist the school with litter issues.
