This Spring, the RMS & TLHS Bands will once again be having a Scrip Fundraiser drive. We want to give your family the opportunity to purchase any gift cards you might need for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and graduation through the band program. By doing this, you are benefiting the band, your student’s band account, and giving to others all at the same time!

Q: What is scrip?A: Scrip is another term for “gift cards”.

Q: Why does the band sell gift cards when I can buy these gift cards at the store or online?A: The band (and student) earns a profit on every gift card sold.

Q: Do these gift cards cost more than face value?A: Absolutely not. A $25 gift card costs exactly $25.

Q: What does the band use these profits for?A: Anything and everything, from music, to band class supplies, and even instruments.

Q: What types of things can the students spend their profits on?A: Any band related fee other than private lessons. Students can pay for reeds, valve oil, special events and trips. Families can spend this money or they can save it up for HS band fees and trip costs.

Q: How much profit is earned by band and student?A: Student earns 50% and the band earns 50%.
