IDAHO DEPARTMENT OF LANDS PROJECT PREVIEW BONNERS FERRY AREA E.F. BOULDER CREEK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT 21-234-041006 - FSR-628 M.P. 4.0 IDL is offering the opportunity to preview the site scheduled for bridge replacement in summer of 2021. The preview will be held on 10/7/2020, between the hours of 12 noon Pacific Time and 3:00 PM Pacific Time. The intent is to give potential contractors the opportunity to view the existing bridge before winter to promote more accurate pricing and project completion schedules when the solicitation is advertised. This will be the only opportunity to preview the site, as gates will be locked except during this preview window. All interested contractors are encouraged to visit the areas to fully inform themselves of all the conditions and limitations. Please familiarize yourself with the attached map. Questions Any questions contractors have during the project preview will be recorded by an IDL representative. Interested contractors can also submit questions in writing until 5:00PM MT to [email protected] until October 15, 2020. Questions recorded at the project preview and received in writing by the aforementioned due date and time will be taken into account when solicitation documents are being finalized, and some may warrant answers on an official addendum to the impending solicitation. The structure is currently in design and a final span will be identified in the contract plans • The general description of work includes the following but is not limited to; removal and disposal of the existing bridge and abutments, road way excavation and embankment, instream work, rip-rap placement, clearing and grubbing of right of way timber, delivery and installation the specified pre-fabricated steel bridge, erosion control, and seeding and mulching. The solicitation for this project will be sent out at a later date.

Driving Directions:
• From Coeur D’Alene, head north toward Bonner’s Ferry on Highway 95 for approximately 71miles
• Turn right onto Kootenai Trail Road, County Road 22• In approximately 4 miles, turn left onto Parker Canyon Trail• In approximately 2 miles, stay left onto Crossport Road/Dobson Creek Road• In approximately 4 miles, turn right onto Katka Road , FS314• In approximately 1.25 miles stay slight right on Katka Road• In approximately 9 miles, turn right onto Boulder Creek Road, FS408• In approximately 2.5 miles turn slight left onto FS628• Continue for approximately 4 miles to the project site
