Christmas 2014 Merry Christmas to our friends and loved ones! Once again it is hard to believe how fast the year has gone ... a sure sign that we are aging. Looking back, it is wonderful to see God's blessing in our lives. I (Laurie) am taken back to our first Christmas after Jonathan was born. What an interesting perspective of the first Christmas I had that year: to think of Mary holding her baby and knowing that He was her God and Savior, Immanuel, God with us! Perhaps the reflections come more frequent because Jonathan and Julie are expecting their first baby in January! We are going to be grandparents! They are living in the Reading area which is about an hour and a half away. Jonathan is the Assistant Pastor at Victory Baptist Church where he is in charge ofthe youth and music. Julie has been working as a Physician's Assistant for an orthopedic group. Benjamin has been helping Jon and Julie out with the remodeling of their house. This year saw a change in his work as he started his own contracting business. He specializes in remodeling I carpentry work. His big highlight of the year was a backpacking trip out west. He and his friends started in Montana and ended in California visiting six national parks in two weeks. He also works with our youth group. They have been averaging 25-30 teens on Wednesday night. Danielle and Paul were living in Ohio where we got to visit them for her kindergarten class's graduation (and her birthday and our nephew Mark's graduation). It was amazing to see all that the class learned over the course of the school year. In July she and Paul moved into our old house in Chester. Paul is working as a mechanic for Scott Honda and Danielle teaches 3 year olds at a Preschool. They adopted a German Shepherd/Collie mix puppy that they named Nellie. Danny and I are ministering together at our church. (He preaches and pastors, I work with the children and play the piano). Our church has celebrated several babies born this year as well as seen several people born again into the family of God. God is still at work in hearts and we are grateful that we get to be a part of His Work. May you have the Joy of the Lord this Christmas! :i>CUUUJ, .I!awtie and [JJenjamin 2446 Mill Road, Boothwyn, PA 19061
