The Simpsons is widely considered to be one of the greatest television series of all time. Time magazine's December 31, 1999, issue named it the 20th century's best television series. Homer's exclamatory catchphrase "D'oh!" has even been adopted into the English language.

The good and bad

Strong and Weak

The Simpsons is extremely well animated and the content of their TV series flows very well, in the older episodes quality is degraded much to be expected considering the time period they were made in (First episode aired in December 1989!)

What are the strengths?

The audio particularly in the older video can be very distorted and muffled at times, it can render the characters voices unrealistic and I think that the audio is definitely something that needs to be tweaked.

What are the weaknesses?
