Copy of the famous icon of Cretan iconographer Georgios Klontzas. This icon depicts various different scenes to celebrate the glory of the Virgin Theotokos, who is pictured in the center of the composition, glorious, enthroned by seraphim and holding Christ in her hands. The colors used are intense, vivid and full of shine while scenes from the life of the Virgin are depicted in chronological order.
