Icon - Mechanical Leak Detector Icon Technology Systems mechanical leak detector has been engineered specifically with the operator in mind, meeting specific design enhancements to help proactively prevent minor and catastrophic leak events before they have the opportunity to occur. Perfect for residential, commercial, point of use and brew beverage applications, the Icon leak detector is easy to install and maintain in almost any placement configuration. Pre-molded mounting holes as well as strong, durable adhesive strips are supplied with each leak detector kit, including two replacement activation tablets. No power source required as these are triggered when water makes contact with the activation tablet. Once water contact has been made, the tablet expands to trip the inbound feed line, shutting the water off to the outport of the leak detector resulting in the prevention of further water flow. Changing the activation tablets couldn’t be easier with the patented robust swing door design. Simply open the swing door, reset the trigger mechanism, replace the tablet and close. Your system will now be ready for normal operation without the need to remove from its original fixed placement position.
