Welcome Message from our General Chairs
Welcome to the International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Management Science and Applications 2017 in Seoul on behalf of the conference committee, we would like to convey our appreciation to all authors for participating and contributing their valuable works to make this conference great. It is our great honor to welcome you and wish you both, professional success at ICIMSA, and a great time in the beautiful city of Seoul.
ICIMSA 2017 aimed to discover a new progressive technology by enhancing the previoustechnologies and to solve the technical problems that may have occurred in the process of merging technology in various fields of industry.
At ICIMSA 2017, IT experts, researchers and practitioners from each field have been invited to share ideas and research technologies. Moreover they will be encouraged to cooperate with each other to overcome the confronted technical problems. As a result, this conference will become a place of knowledge with a variety of effects created on every field related to industrial engineering, management science and applications.
The conference seeks contributions presenting novel research results in all aspects of industrial engineering, management science and applications. Submitted papers have been reviewed by our Program Committee Members and Reviewers The accepted papers will be published by IEEE and will be submitted to be indexed by EI, ISI and Scopus.
We would like to thank all organizers, supporters, and organizing committee members who are listed in the following pages. Each reviewers has reviewed at least four papers, while each paper has been reviewed by at least three international reviewers. Our success would not have been possible without their support and contribution, as we strongly believe their collaboration and support was invaluable to making this International Conference fruitful and insightful. Lastly, we would be greatly honored and pleasured to have your continued contributions in future ICIMSA.
With warm regards,

Keynote Speech Title:
"Reliability Assessment and Cost Optimization Tools for Cloud Service with Big Data by Using Open Source Software"
Recently, the cloud service with big data is managed by using several open source software. In this case, it is important for the software managers to consider the problems in terms of reliability and security. Our research group has been proposed several useful methods of reliability assessment and cost optimization for the cloud service with big data by using several open source software. Moreover, we have developed several application software based on these proposed methods. These application software have been opened on our Website. In keynote speech, we introduce several useful reliability assessment methods and the developed application software for the cloud services based on open source software. These application software are developed by using Flex programming language. In particular, the three-dimensional space is implemented in the developed tool by using ActionScript programming language with the library of Papervision3D. Also, we have developed the application software based on NW.js and NVD3 technologies by using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Then, we show several numerical examples based on the proposed method by using actual fault data recorded on the bug tracking systems of open source software. Moreover, several numerical illustrations based on the developed application software are shown in this keynote speech by using fault data of actual open source software such as OpenStack, Hadoop, and Apache HTTP server.

Tutorial Title: "Smart Manufacturing"
Tutorial Abstract:
The concepts of cyber-physical systems, internet of things, and cloud computing have attracted attention of various applications, from manufacturing to transportation and energy. They aim at the enhancement of the physical assets with a digital platform. The newly developed solutions are smarter, better connected, more efficient, shared, and sustainable. The key differentiators of smart systems of tomorrow are in the greater use of data, predictive capabilities, resource sharing, and sustainability. Driven by big data, predictive engineering offers a new paradigm in constructing high-fidelity models (digital representations) of phenomena that sometimes are barely imaginable. Such models allow exploring future spaces, some within the realm of existing technology and others that have not been seen previously. Resource sharing aims at better utilization of the investments made. Its benefits can be expressed in monetary and sustainability metrics. Sustainability is of paramount importance in the applications supported by smart manufacturing. There is no doubt that the greatest sustainability gains will be accomplished when the products, processes, and systems are developed with sustainability in mind. Sustainability is not only about what is manufactured but how it is done. It is the main force for providing equal footing for remanufacturing, reconditioning, reuse, and manufacturing. Because of sustainability, the line between manufacturing

1. From Hotel
2. Jogyesa [ 조계사 ] : Jogyesa Temple leads to the Zen Buddhism in Korea. This temple does not give off the solemn and traditional feelings of the other temples located in the deep mountains. But it has some advantages compared to the other temples because the transportation is very convenient and this temple is well connected to the surrounding city area.
3. Via The Blue House : Official residence of the president is called "The Blue House".The sym-bol of the Blue House, which is at the center of Korean politics, is the blue tiles. The first thing that catches your eye when you arrive at the Blue House is also the blue tiles of the main building. The blue tiles and the smooth roof are in beautiful harmony with Mt. Bugaksan behind it.
4. Royal Guard Changing Ceremony: [수문장교대의식] : In ancient times, the royal guards of Joseon Dynasty performed the given task by guarding the Gwanghwamun Gate, the entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace where the king ruled the country. Since 1469, the ceremony has taken place and its record has been consulted for the present reenactment ceremony. The reenactment of the original ceremony began from 1996. The gate guardsmen serve their sentry, perform the changing of the guards, and hold a parade.
5. Gyeongbokgung Palace [경복궁] : Gyeonbokgung Palace is a palace erected during the reign of king Taejo, founder of the Joseon Dynasty(1392-1910) which was the final kingdom in Korea, but it was destroyed in the Japanese invasion of 1592. It was reconstructed in 1868. It has 4 gates including the southern main gate, Gwanghwamum.
6. National Folk Museum of Korea [국립민속박물관] : The National Folk Museum is located on the compound of Gyeongbok palace. It shows you the traditional life of both the ordinary peo-ple and aristocracy. It has exhibits from all parts of Korea. There are displays of traditional farming methods, hunting, weaving, cooking and other house keeping chores.
7. Back To Hotel
