SUGGESTTIONFor this building design concept, my concept for this building is come from glass. I suggest focus on using glass for the exterior design for my building design. I propose to use majority glass material to build the build-
ing. Because the view of the glasses design are more technology and more clear. And it is good for our envi-ronment because it can lack using electrical cause the sunlight can pass through the glass and safe the usage of electricity. The client and costumers would enjoy the sunlight even though they are inside the building. This will increase the rate and chance to feel the beauty from the environment. Besides, at night they also can enjoy the nightscape from the outside of the building.
THE DESIGN OF MY BUILDING
PROPOSAL
Although this is an empty land but it is near to residen-tial area and primary school. This land has a good poten-tial to increase the lifestyle level. The location for this
empty land has a good strategic for the primary student and other costumers.
From my own design concept I want to build a commer-cial glass building. The building has double stories. The ground floor that I plan to do a food court, and inside there have a lot of hawker food because there is low price and suitable for student.
The first floor that I wanted to plan is to do stationary shop because there is easier for student to buy station-ary after school.
RATIONALEFood court:
1) People no need go further place to find restaurant.
2) People have a lot of choose to make deci-sion on what to eat today.
3) People can gather and enjoy the food with friend or family.
4) Student can have a meal before or after school.
Stationary:
1) Student can get their stationary supplies convenient.
2) A better study environment provide to student.
3) Student can also can buy the stationary easily and more near to their school.
BENEFIT:
1) The empty land can be functional.
2) Students no longer need to go to further place to buy their stationary.
3) Students can have a better and pleasing environment to study.
4) People can enjoy their food before or af-ter work and school.
5) People can gathering and enjoy their food with family or friends.
6) People also can relax after their work or school.
IMPACT
-The surrounding of resident will affected by noise.
- Causes traffic congestion as the road in front of our site is narrow and there is not enough parking spaces.
- The rate of pollution will be increase causes there is a lot rubbish produce.
MATERIALI suggest the type of material that suitable to use in the building. Flooring
Grond FloorThis stone floor with many diferent type of brown colors can be resistant the dirty on the floor.
First Floor
This wooden floor that suitable to use in a clean area such as sationary shop.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT TASKProfessions involved in this project:
• Contractor• Landscape Architect• Architect• Quantity Surveyor• Civil and Structural Engineer• Mechanical and Electrical Engineer• Supplier
Contractor- Responsible for overseeing construction on both new and old buildings and struc-tures.
- Helps to organize and manage all aspects of a building site.
- Contractors don’t usually do any of the heavy lifting on a construction site them-selves, but they oversee teams of subcon-tractor who are doing the work.
Landscape Architect- To research on the project, include over-seeing the design of a variety of projects.
- He can establishing general landscape re-quirement with client.
- He also need to carrying out environmen-tal impact assessment
- Landscape Architect needs to seek and take into account the views of local resi-dent, potential uses, and parties with a vested interest in the project.
- Landscape Architect will select a contrac-tor and manage for building the land-scape.
- Landscape Architect also needs to com-municate and cooperate with other pro-fessionals on the project.
Architect
- Architect need to comply with building and safe regulations, local planning regu-lations and restriction.
- Depending on the project there may be laws surrounding the preservation of the local environment or any historic parts of building.
- During the documentation phase,- The responsibilities are to producing de-sign, detailed drawing and using technol-ogy such as CAD to test the feasibility of the design.
- Architect need to consider about client’s requirements, budget and regulations.
- Once the design documents are complete, there are then a second set of documents that need to be produced.
Quantity Surveyor- A quantity surveyor manages all cost re-lating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to be final figures.
- Surveyors seek to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still archiving the required standards and quality.
- A quantity surveyor may work for either the client or the contractor, working in an office or on site.
- They are involved in a project from the start, preparing estimates and costs of the work.
Civil and Structure Engineer - Structure engineers are primarily con-cerned with designing aesthetically pleas-ing buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed.
- Unlike architecture, who must focus on the appearance, shape, size, and use of the building, structure engineers must solve the problems.
- Civil and Structural Engineer have respon-sible in calculations about loads and stresses the construction will have a safety withstand.
- Before work can begin, structural engi-neers are involved in the investigation and survey of build sites to determine the suit-ability of the earth for the requirements of the upcoming project.
Mechanical and Electrical Engi-neering
- Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies the principles of engineering, physics and material science for the de-sign, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of me-chanical systems.
- During construction, the engineers need to monitor the installation process.
- After the construction, mechanical and electrical engineering also have responsi-ble on maintenance in certain time limit (2-3 year)
Supplier- A supplier is a supply chain management term that means anyone who provides goods or services to a company or individ-uals.
- Supplier will supply materials to the site. - Suppliers also need to ensure the quality of the materials.
- A supplier is often the one who manufac-tures inventoriable items, and sell those items.
- Suppliers also need to ensure the installa-tion of the materials and equipment goes smoothly.
- Supplier also sometimes recognized as a subcontractor because of their large con-tributions to a project.
