Citizen centricity crowns a new king – the citizen and its well being. The author claims that the values of trust, transparency

and authenticity and a call for a true awareness to citizens’ needs and their rightful place in the systems is what will define the new

governance of a citizen centered social sensitive leaders. It is a global phenomenon, and so on October 15 people all across the

world will march in a protest not just against a capitalistic paradigm that set citizens back due to financial manipulations and greed, the

major fractures in the values that hold a society together, brought about the bankruptcy of the current ruling paradigm. Therefore they reclaim

their natural place at the center of the systems and call for a new language.

The people itself becomes the mover and shaker - a collective of citizens. A global movement is being born, that reflects a universal

tipping point of no more, and threatens to shake the prevailing axioms of the western world as it translates into a bottom up communal direct action taking, individual frustrations build a collaborative momentum.

It strikes a chord for a collective that cannot be put across the world and claims a new civil ecology. A new power balance that truly puts citizens’ well being at the center will serve as the blueprint for the professionals who will step forward and adapt to gain the trust of their future constituents. Elected representatives and governors that will not realize that, are jeopardizing their political validity. New leaders may arise, mastering the language of civil ecology based on solidarity, social responsibility, but lacking the tools, skills and political craftsmanship needed for implementing it responsibly. It will take a real citizen centered governance culture to revive the original and natural increasing returns dynamics where the people elect representatives who truly prove to fulfill this claim and earn the constituents’ trust, will enjoy a greater thus ensure their future credibility and their central place in continuing and serving the people.
