It’s a simple, yet effective, exercise enabling learners to get to know each other quite quickly as well as picking up on the cultural and ethnic diversity within the group. Icebreaker ~ 20 mins
Work in pairs:
1. Each pair will discuss each others names
2. Each individual should tell their partner: the meaning of their name; who gave it to them; how to spell it; whether they like it or not, etc, etc
3. After 10 minutes you will introduce your partner to the group
