What? From late January to mid-March each year cricket teams from all over the world descend on Estonia’s capital city,

Tallinn to play Cricket on the ice covering Lake Harku or even in an old Soviet Missile Factory converted into two ice

rinks. The wicket is marked out on the ice, the boundary marked out to keep bewildered locals off the field and you use

an indoor windball, just don’t forget your spikes. Ice Cricket is a great chance to play social cricket with a difference, in

one of the most incredible cities in Europe. Here at Tours 4 Sport, we work with the Estonian National Cricket

Association to ensure the smooth running of all of our Ice Cricket tours and tournaments so that everyone has a great

time in the spirit of cricket.

Where? Tallinn, the lively capital city of Estonia and the home of Ice Cricket. Tallinn is the ultimate cricket tour destination even

in the winter. The nightlife in Tallinn is second to none, the locals are very welcoming and The matches can be playedon a lake, on the Baltic Sea or even in an old Soviet Missile Factory depending on the snowfall and ice thickness.

Estonia has plenty of culture mixed with a vibrant

nightlife and friendly people which make it the perfecttour destination for a tour where the nightlife is as

important as the sport. Tallinn is an historic, medieval

citadel with fantastic architecture and monuments

combined with modern buildings and excellent shopping

centres. At night, Tallinn really comes alive. The city is

packed full of clubs and bars filled with the friendly locals

and tourists alike with most clubs open till 6 in the

morning.

Football, Rugby and Cricket are available from March to

October but we can also offer you Ice Cricket, Snow

Rugby and Snow Football during winter months. Honest!

The standard of your opposition can be matched to the

ability of your team and your hosts will give you a good

game and plenty of post-match hospitality.

Try one of our brilliant activities from Curling and Karting

to Dr Death’s Military Academy and Ice Climbing. If you

want a relaxing break from the bars and clubs of Tallinnor an adrenalin-fuelled, action packed day out, we’ll find

the right activity.

The Old Town in Tallinn is where the action takes place

and of course that's where your hotel will be. You’ll be

met at the airport by your chaperone who will give you

advice and a tour of the city too. Estonia is the place to

begin your Baltic adventure and a tour to Tallinn will be

talked about for years to come.

JF, Cricket Tour to Estonia combined with stag weekend in Tallinn

I’ve Booked Now What Shall I

Take?

Well it is winter in the Baltic’s after all, so warm clothes would be a

good idea! You will be playing cricket on Ice which will probably have a

light covering of snow if played outside or on an ice rink in an oldsoviet missile factory, the best idea is to bring your cricket spikes so

you get as much grip as possible but failing that, trainers or boots will

do, it comes down to personal preference.

All cricket equipment will be provided.

Gloves, ski socks, a warm jacket, thick trousers or tracksuit trousers

and a hat are recommended and waterproofs if possible for when

you’re playing.

Don’t forget though that you have to play cricket, so the more you can

move the better.

It is essential to have adequate insurance for your trip so make sure

you contact us for more information on your options.

You also need your passport and EHIC (the new E111).
