The organisers of the ICCX, the team from CPI worldwide, set up a shuttle service for the uncomplicated transfer of the guests who had travelled by air. After having hosted the ZBI Kongress twice, in 2014 and 2015, the Hotel Ossa Congress & Spa once again proved to be a suitable venue for a trade conference of this kind. This event, named after the Polish edition of CPI and similarly organised by CPI worldwide, had previously focused on the Polish market until the decision was made to expand the conference to Poland's neighbouring countries. That marked the birth of the ICCX Central Europe. Extensive conference programme arouses great interest
The two-day conference programme was divided into four topicalblocks. The conference languages spoken were English and Polish.The presentations were each simultaneously translated into therespective other language. In parallel, the presentations were allsimultaneously translated into Russian. All presentations were thusoffered in three languages.
In addition, the presentations were projected onto two screens in theEnglish and Polish versions.

The constantly high number of vis-itors in the lecture room - it was well attend-
ed from the first presentation on the morn-ing of 11 February until the closing presen-tation of the conference on the afternoon of12 February - testified to the high quality ofthe technical presentations.
The presentations were divided into the cat-egories "Concrete technology for the pre-cast and ready-mix concrete industry","Precast concrete elements", "Concretepipes and manholes" and "Concrete prod-ucts", so that each individual trade visitorcould organise the day with the lecture pro-gramme and trade exhibition according tohis or her own individual interests.One new item was the round of discussionsthat followed the presentation by MateuszFlorek, the director of the Polish ConcretePipe Association (Stowarzyszenie Pro -ducen tów Elementów Betonowych dlaKanalizacji), who Jacek Szer, the deputychief inspector of the Polish building inspec-torate (p.o Głównego Inspektora NadzoruBudowlanego), had invited to a round oftalks. A discussion was held together withthe listeners in the auditorium on currentregulations, EU standards and sustainableunderground building with precast con-crete elements.

The ICCX Dinner Party was arranged forthe evening of the first day of the confer-ence. Dinner together in a pleasant andcasual atmosphere offered an opportunityfor further discussions and for getting toknow one another.
A live band, which ably played cover ver-sions of hits from today and yesteryear,raised the mood even further and the ICCXDinner Party took a "dancing" course.

There's no question that the ICCX CentralEurope will go into the next round in 2017.
Like this year, the event will be held in thesecond week of February in the comingyear. The venue will also be the Ossa Con -gress & Spa once again.
