– 11 Mar. 2010, 8 Apr. 2010, 13 May 2010, 10 Jun. 2010, 22 Jul. 2010, and 5 Aug 2010– Face-to-face meeting in Brussels at 22 Jun 2010 (during ICANN)

• Topics– 2010 ICANN Board of Directors Election

• We selected Kuo Wei Wu.– We have no election next year, and try to improve ICANN

board selection procedure

• Time frame- current procedure is fragile a little bit. Need to make it more

flexible

Global Policy Management– Global Policy Proposal for the Allocation of IPv4 Blocks to

Regional Internet Registries• Adopted in APNIC, LACNIC, AfriNIC and RIPE.• Adopted in ARIN with different text• ASO/AC decided this policy proposal failed to get global consensus

and advised NRO EC about that last November.

– Global Policy for allocation of ASNs to RIRs• Adopted in all regions, and forwarded to ICANN board for ratification

on 22 Jul.• Public comment period in ICANN was ended at 13 Aug.

– Global policy for IPv4 allocations by the IANA post exhaustion

• Recognized as a global policy• Will be discussed in all regions
