I.C. Musco and the E-Twinning project Our E-Twinning project, A piece of cake for students as cool as a cucumber, as the title may suggest, is devoted to the topic of both language and... food. :) we are three partner schools from Poland, Italy and Turkey, we want to use the means of the English language to communicate with students from different countries and cultural backgrounds to learn about their everyday life, hobbies, traditions and school and about typical dishes in their region. We believe that through doing various activities concerning this essential aspect of life, we can find out about people, their taste, history and culture. Our aim is not only to communicate about daily topics with peers in a foreign language, but also learn about other people’s culture using art as well as new technologies. Here there are some samples of the activities we worked out with our students and our partner schools: Autumn in Poland and Italy, Exchanging of Christmas traditions and Christmas Cards, December in Turkey, Carnival in Poland and Saint Agata’s tradition in Sicily, Superstitions in Turkey, Exchanging of healthy recipes among our Countries. Qua ci sono alcuni esempi delle attività su cui abbiamo lavorato con i nostri studenti e le nostre scuole partners: Autumn in Poland and Italy, Exchanging of Christmas traditions and Christmas Cards, December in Turkey, Carnival in Poland and Saint Agata’s tradition in Sicily, Superstitions in Turkey, Exchanging of healthy recipes among our Countries.
