Embrace Taiwan

Have you ever had a dream that to bridge the gap in the world? This project is all about a dream that we can bring the international resources to the rural places to make positive impact in this small island country-Taiwan. To make good use of the winter and summer vacation in Taiwan, we build a team including Taiwanese and foreign EPs to hold a camp for

children in Rural places.

Hualien, where “Cultural Education” will be hold, is also called “The back garden of Taiwan”. It’s at the east of Taiwan. There are full of true aboriginal culture of tropical island. You will teach students in local school and share what you know and culture of your own country to them. The passion of people and beauty of nature will definitely let you

have the awesome internship!

With school's teacher help to create teaching materials, you can add any interesting ideas to enlarge this project. This year we're going to focus on Health Care, Community Care, and Elder Care for session design. Also your country's local issues are welcomed! We think develop and cultivate children through local issues and topics can truly help our country's basic education; also achieve the

cooperation for cross culture!

If you're highly interested in elementary school sharing and teaching, then it's much better! Also based on our topic:local issues, you need to be strongly engaged to express the impact! Indeed, if you have passion to make some change for the

Under the title, this internship is going to be "out of expecting"! You're going to experience a journey in fish(special for Taiwan) farm with our lovely farm host! From the morning to evening, what you can touch is not only biological learning environment, but also a farm business located in small fresh mountain! All the trainees who experience this internship were all falling in love with the "real Taiwan", also the enthusiasm form host that they treat trainees as their kids! Breath fresh air, feel regular healthy schedule, and create your own farm story!

"Use your imagination to see the things in unexpected way." Besides the different culture sharing, you and a group of Taiwanese students will stimulate your creativity, imagination, thinking etc.together. No matter designing courses about your culture, or dicussing about the golbal issue, you will use the different way to lead the usual

things. Ready to react.

After being trained the knowledege of forest, the notice about each forest center etc. by Taiwan Forestry Bureau for few days , participants including trainees and Taiwanese students will be separated to different local Forest District Office to start their internship. You will experience the beauty of taiwanese forest, designing some activities about forest ,working with the local people, and feel the life style in

taiwan.

Use the diverse culture background of EP all over the world, design creative sessions for students from 6 to 18, develop their capability of creative thinking, culture communication and issue

awareness.

Prepare a two-week camp with 20 EPs from over ten countries, design sessions about helping children to aware world issue, reflect what they see and empower themselves to make change. We hope children in Taiwan

can be a change make through EPs' efforts.

Through different eyes we try to find people and place we left behind. We hope that we can arouse some important issues and let viewers know the beauty of this small city, Hsinchu. You can learn how to work with Taiwan residents, experience Taiwanese countryside life and know how to record the things around you and Design and develop a house and really work it out.

You will learn organic agricultural knowledge and do farming. You will have a chance to experience Hakka culture. There're also a chance for you to showcase your country's culture, and you will be the tour guide of the farm. Who seek for a rural life will definitely

love this life-changing experience.

It's an education project about designing and having course to the students of artistic class in every grade. The content needs to combine art skill and culture from your own countries. Others, you have to support English teachers in classes, you can also teach your mother language during morning

meeting.

It’s a project about being an intern in a tea factory, and the TN also has his own tea field, that means you can experience the whole process of producing the tea product we buy in supermarket, also Taiwan’s special

and plentiful tea culture.

We prefer someone who loves to drink tea and live in natural environment to join this project. Also, for smooth communication, we need someone who can speak basic Chinese,

just everyday language level.

We prefer someone studies or graduates from Artistic College, or who understands his/her culture. It is important to be passionate about teaching, and has patience to get

along with children.

This internship is cooperated with Graduate Institute of Taiwan Literature. You need to travel around and find the delicious snacks and restaurant, taste and write down the review. Photograph and record on the Blog. Besides, have fun on the famous tour spot and share your good time. During the weekends, you will join "Be my friend" program to be a couch surfer between CHLC and friendly college peers. The host student will take

you to travel around Taiwan island.

YunLin, in middle-west of the Taiwan, has a very rich land, abundant in agriculture and Taiwanese traditional culture, but lack of education resource in local countries. We hope through this project and international youth power to make this piece of land can be seen its rich local cultural and beautiful scenery, also help them solve the needs of limited educational resources.

Taiwanese Aboriginal peoples have such a unique cultural and world famous thing─dishy tune!! But their descendants gradually forgot their treasures. Through this project we can record and spread the beautiful treasures of Taiwan aboriginal culture.


This Project is a educational project for elementary school. The language is not the reason to stop them dream big but an OPPORTUNITY! Your story, your country, your culture is definitely the power that can

We focus on local resources to enlarge the project's field via local issues and society's trend. The project combine cross cultural session, media exposure, Taiwan beauty to build a model for long-term local impact! This is the third year we run the project with compete materials and well-developed SOP. From the students side, we add meaningful sessions to help education

in Taiwan.
