Pico Nigeria - Background Pico Nigeria was founded in February 2004, to service the growing requirement for microcellular solutions, both internal and external, and both corporate and non-corporate. We offer a convenient and flexible service to resolve the challenges in delivering advanced indoor services. Main areas of work: 1. The Non-Corporate Internal portfolio

• Shopping Centres • Exhibition Centres • Airports • Stadiums and sporting venues • Major prestige hotels and conference venues

The work involves the technical support, surveying and design functions, upgrading existing installations. Pico Nigeria offers a cradle to grave turnkey service including client liason, Project Management of the design and installation team and a full post-installation maintenance service. 2. Corporate Internal Schemes These schemes usually arise at the request of a major corporate customer for increased internal coverage. Generally, these only require project management of the design and installation teams. Pico Nigeria has also undertaken Project Management and Co-ordination for a corporate client rollout of picocells across Nigeria. Pico were the main client liaison. 3. Multi-Operator Schemes This is another growth area for Pico Nigeria, as more and more Operators look to reduce capital costs of building internal schemes. Following conclusion of legal documentation, Pico Nigeria have upgraded a number of existing internal schemes to allow the site to be multi-operator and technology neutral. For instance, we are currently preparing to upgrade our existing installation at the MMA2 Domestic Airport in Lagos to accomodate a second operator. 4. Neutral Hosts Schemes Pico Nigeria have recently been approached by a number of high profile companies with a view to exploring the opportunity of deploying indoor schemes. The schemes would be paid for by the companies and individuals with a view to inviting the cellular Operators to be “hosted” on the scheme. The driver for this type of installation is that the Customer does not have to be contracted to any one Operator, and controls the speed of deployment, extent of coverage and commands a rental income from the installation.
