working area by crane and hung by chain.

In this situation about 4 labour need to hold the beam to make sure the beam is place according to point marked.

33Connect precast beam to precast beam

After the beam has arranged according to size, selected labor will drill the dole to make connection from one beam to another beam. Second :Install the ground slab precast

Carry the precast slab

Precast slab then will carried by crane that being look by four labour to make sure that the slab is place at right place according to marking.

This slab is arranged on the bam and will joint them together by casting a concrete connection or using bolt and nut.

35 Install precast slab at ground floor and install slab connection

Casting of slab is arranged on the ground beam using the concrete mix on site.This installation for ground slab involved many labours as the slab is heavy to place and also need to place in right position in order to prevent from any mistake happened.

36Third :Install the column precast

Setting-out on the surface of the work site.

-Seting out process is done by supervisor incharge in site.- This process is done to make

sure the point for pillar not erected from original point.

- This will minimize mistake during installation of column.

- Supervisor incharge need to make sure the height og starter bar is 800mm from floor level. Diagram 10: Process for

37 Placement of Pre-cast column to starter bar.

Starter bar for each column is install before place the ground slab

The height of starter bar for each column is according to point marked before this and the height of each column cracker must use dumpy level to get the high according the cracker size.

Precast column is placed inside the starter bar by using the crane and guide by labour in charge.

The starter bar that installed before this at height 800mm from floor level will paired with column that hung by crane

At the bottom of the column, there are holes provide to easier paired the column with starter bar.

Then worker involved will connect the starter bar with the column to assure the column is insert right and in right position.

4. As this method of construction use precast column, so the bottom of the column are provided with hole and every connection between column and starter bar are using bolt and nut to connect to slab. As this column made at factory, the diameter for each hole is 50mm.

Supervisor involved need to check regularly on this connection as to prevent from failure.

As the height of column are in different height, shim pad are placed to make sure column in same height.

Place the shim pad to the bottom of column and placed it before joint column with starter bar.

Place strut at the corner of column and the grout is then poured into the holes that were prepared during casting for the insertion of the starter bar.

Fourth :Install the precast beam at upper floor.

Carry the precast beam

Precast beam will carried by crane and held for 1st floor with workers standby in their position to setup the beam to column.

The position should be in parallel to column to easier to connect from beam hole to column holes.

Using mobile crane, place the pre-cast hollow core floor slab o top of the beam as shown on the diagram and guided with labour.
