Our History

Confección y textiles de Egara is a com-pany with over 30 years’ experience in the fashion market, brand representa-tion and imports. It was founded by Cesar Franco Jr., in the 1980s.

The company was initially devoted to the manufacture of knit fabric, achie-ving one of the top positions in the national market for its design and high quality, and developing a unique con-cept for women's clothing in Mexico.

Mr .Franco dedicated himself to ope-ning boutiques under his name, "Cesar Franco". To complement his collections within the boutiques, he began to inte-grate international brands such as Mondi and Apriori, thus getting invol-ved in the import market.

In addition to the confection of his brand Cesar Franco, he started ventu-ring in the international fashion market, becoming a representative and importer of brands such as Carolina Herrera, Purificación García, Ann Klein, Alba Conde, and Caractere, among others, managing to position them in major department stores in the country.

With the firm conviction of providing complete and integral services to foreign companies seeking to expand their business in Mexico, IBRLA Inter-national Brand Representation Latin America was created in 2008.

Together, our companies have over 30 years’ experience in Latin Ame-rican market, focusing mainly on the fashion industry.
