New IBM Maximo Training Approach

Starting with Maximo v7.6, all IBM-developed training materials will be developed/delivered online only.

Traditional IBM Training manuals will no longer be developed.

All new training content is currently available at no cost to encourage a wider audience across the globe.

Online Training can be customized (via Adobe Captivate) for company-specific configurations on a services basis from the designated IBM Global Training partners or IBM Education as a Service.

How it works… This new Maximo training option is intended to provide the

fundamental training on Maximo 7.6, however most of the topics are relevant to prior versions of 7.X.

There is no need for an instance of Maximo nor training manuals as the simulations guide you through the product.

The lessons/simulations in each module generally have a short lecture, then an exercise and end with a short quiz.

Each lesson/simulation will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete and can be repeated as many times as necessary.

Each simulation has an intended audience(s) as follows: (E) = End user (Introductory) (A) = Administrator (Intermediate) (C) = Consultant (Advanced)
