Geospatial Analytics Service in Bluemix
– Bluemix is IBM’s cloud platform that helps developers rapidly build, manage and run web and mobile applications.
– Can be found in the Big Data category of Bluemix catalog
– Powered by InfoSphere Streams
Geospatial Analytics Overview:
– Monitors devices on-the-move from the Internet of Things.
– Checks device locations in real-time with respect to a dynamic set of geographic regions
– Produces events when devices enter (or exit) a region
– Accepts a device data stream using MQTT protocol in JSON format (IoT Foundation service in Bluemix)
