born in Yatsushiro Gun, Kumamoto Ken, Japan, and was a homemaker and member of Kona
Hongwanji Mission and Honaunau Kumial. Survived by sons, Yoshiharu of Kailua-Kona and
Yoshiyuki of Honalo, Kona; daughters, Hatsuyo of Kailua-Kona, Hanayo Uekawa of Honolulu,
Shizuyo Matsumoto of Kailua-Kona and Kimiyo Watanabe, Haruyo Tsunemoto and Natsuyo
Wong, all of California; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private service held.

Izumi, Yoshiharu “Harry”, also known as Inka, of Kailua-Kona, a retired coffee farmer and
Kona Hilton Hotel houseman, died Monday in Kona Community Hospital. Izumi, 74, was born
in Honaunau, Hawaii. He is survived by companion Shigeyo Tanaks; sons Alvin, Harold and
Kelan; daughter Doreen Regohos; brother Yoshiyuki C.; sisters Hatsuyo Izumi, Mildred
Uekawa, Florence Matsumoto, Daisy Watanabe, Lily Tsunemoto and Natsuyo Wong, and seven
grandchildren. Service: 5 p.m. tomorrow at Kona Hongwanji Mission in Kiealakekua, Hawaii.
