The Sanctuary. The crowd are on their feet in celebration and they have every right to

be. We’re just one whole week away from Soul Survivor and tonight, DTR is set to return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega.

Suddenly the arena lights dim and “Anywhere in the world” by Alexisonfire hits, its drum beat igniting flames that light up the entrance ramp.

Mitch Law: “Welcome everybody to Sunday Night Warzone. If you’ve just tuned in

then we’re about to be joined by DTR.”

Ryan Johnson: “After what he did to Jensen Cussen last week, I can’t believe he’d

dare show up here.”

DTR steps out onto the entrance ramp in the same attire and mask that he wore last

week, stepping between the flames and turning to face them. He tilts his head before

walking down the ramp way, rolling into the ring and positioning himself by the

corner, sat down, slumped against it.

Mitch Law: “He just looks so broken.”

Ryan Johnson: “Broken? Jensen Cussen is broken. No-one knows if Jensen will even

be able to compete at Soul Survivor now.”

The lights come back on to reveal him fully, slumped in the corner and with a microphone in hand.

“Do you remember me?” he asks to a cheer from the crowd. “Do you? Because when

I look in the mirror, I’m half the man that I used to be.”

Mitch Law: “Damn, that’s poignant.”

“No-one knows what it’s like to feel and smell your own flesh burning. No-one can

even imagine the pain I suffered in my absence from this company. What was I

supposed to do? Give up? Quit? Did I overcome my demons just to be vanquished by

intently. “I refused to quit. I refused to stop looking in the mirror at my disfigurement,

refused to stop believing that one day I’d return and gain a measure of vengeance.

Stare back at you ♪ Ryan Johnson: “Speaking of people to blame.”

Mitch Law: “You can’t be serious?”

As the lights dim, the thousands of fans in attendance began to roar. “Savior” by

Skillet blares over the P.A. system as Tyler Brooks emerges through the curtains

under pulsating stage lights. The roars becoming deafening as Brooks slowly makes

his way towards the ring having interrupted DTR.

Ryan Johnson: “Tyler Brooks didn’t exactly help his friend, did he? He always said

they were a brotherhood but where was he when needed?”

By now Tyler has entered the ring and asked for a microphone. He wisely keeps his distance from DTR, who remains sat in the corner having not moved even one inch.

“I don’t mean to interrupt you, but I think we both know where this is going,” Brooks

bravely says. “Don’t we?”

“Interrupt, you? I’m sure you wouldn’t dream of it.” Tyler smiles.

“You know me very well Dave and that’s always been the case. We’ve had wars inside

this very building, wars that have ended brutally on numerous occasions. So if anyone

knows you, it’s me and I know what you’re thinking,”Tyler proposes. He bends down

to a crouch and gets a better look at his former friend, keeping eye contact with

“We weren’t here when you needed us. DDT was a brotherhood. When we got

Mitch Law: “That’s unfair!”

Brooks doesn’t know what to say as the fans boo at DTR and how he blames his

former friend. The Virus stands up and walks across the ring casually, standing only inches away from the Wrestling Savior.

The scene cuts backstage where we find Tommy Carlos King meandering around the

backstage area. He’s in search of something or someone and has a look of frustration

on his face.

Mitch Law: “Looks like King is searching for someone or something. I wonder what

he’s up to?” He rounds the corner and enters one of the locker rooms.

“Elliot, you in here?”

Ryan Johnson: “Why would he go looking for Ethan? Of the many dumb ideas I’ve

seen in my day, that is right up there. I wonder if he thought, oh hey, why don’t we

find the serial killer tonight?”

Tommy looks around and there’s no one to be found. He turns to leave but is stopped

dead in his tracks, his eyes wide and mouth agape. The camera pans around to see

what Tommy is looking at. In the corner of the room there are several lit candles,

crosses, bones, and photos of Hayley. Tommy doesn’t know what to think of the

shrine at first, but then drops to his knees, staring at it, sobbing at it, just unable to control his emotions

Mitch Law: “My God, who would do such a thing?”

Tommy crawls up to the shrine, sees that there is a tape recorder and presses the play button. At first there is only static, but then a soft maniacal laugh is heard.

“Ring around the rosies… pocket full of posies… ashes… ashes… Hayley falls

down…”

Mitch Law: “Just turn that off Tommy! That’s sickening!”

“Tommy, Tommy, Tommy… you know, that rhyme was about the black plague, but

from where I sit, it could be equally logical to have written it about yourself. Why do

your loved ones leave you Tommy? Why do they die?”

Ryan Johnson: “Part of me wants to make a joke here, but this is just plain wrong.”

that’s why SHE left…” Tommy just stares at the photos of Hayley as tears stream from his eyes.

Mitch Law: “Turn it off Tommy!”

“But there’s good news Tommy, good things happen to those who wait and you’ve

waited a very long time haven’t you Tommy… a very long time indeed. Perhaps you’ll

get your wish and see her again, though she won’t be coming back, so you’ll need to

go to her. I’ll help you with that Tommy… I’ll help take you to the edge and give you

the gentle push you need to head off the cliff. Tonight, you will fall victim to me. I

won’t finish you off just yet, because your pain, your suffering is too enjoyable to me.

At Soul Survivor, however, you’ll be pushed closer to her than you’d ever imagine and

there’s nothing you can do about it.”

The scene fades out as Ethan Elliot’s voice laughs manically on the tape and Tommy Carlos King is left with nothing but pain.

Ryan Johnson: “Talk about rubbing salt in an open wound, that was just terrible.”

Mitch Law: “I’ll say. I hope Tommy steps up tonight and takes care of business, this

SELF RESPECT

The scene cuts backstage where we find Jordan Larsson walking through the main

corridor. The big Texan has his cowboy hat on as he struts his stuff backstage, when

out of nowhere someone rushes up on him with a steel chair. They swing, but miss

Larsson as he steps out of the way and the chair crashes into a bunch of wooden crates stacked near a door. The crates tumble over on the assailant, causing Larsson to pause.

Mitch Law: “Jesus! What the hell just happened!?”

Ryan Johnson: “I guess Larsson was the attempted victim of the botch spectactular.”

Larsson kneels down next to his assailant and throws a crate off of them, revealing

Skylar Montgomery as the attacker. Larsson looks upset and figures ready to lay the

boots to Montgomery for trying to cheap shot him, but he thinks better of it.

Ryan Johnson: “What’s he doing? Kick that guy’s ass!”

“Why the hell would you do something like that?” Larsson’s question is pointed at Montgomery who lays injured under the crate.

“Because you deserve it.”

“You know, people like you just don’t think about the consequences of your actions.” Skylar grumbles.

“Over here!”

Larsson hollers out and waves over some of the medical staff who rush to help Skylar

out.

“You know, I could’ve just laid the boots to you tonight. I could’ve kicked you when

you’re down, when you’re defenseless, but that’s not who I am. I’m a bigger man than

that and maybe you should take some of that to thought before you pull a stunt like

that again.”

Larsson shakes his head in disbelief.

“I can’t believe you would attack someone when they couldn’t fight back. What’s

wrong with you?”

And with that, he walks off down the corridor leaving Skylar Montgomery being

tending to by the medical staff.

Ryan Johnson: “What’s wrong with him? Geez! What’s wrong with Larsson? That

guy deserved to get whooped!”

Mitch Law: “Sometimes Ryan, it pays to be the bigger man.”

BURN IT DOWN

In the backstage area, Lance Norman is shown wandering around, looking for

someone in particular. When he finally comes across the right locker room, it turns

out to be that of The Virus. He cautiously enters to find DTR sat against a bench on the floor, his head lowered.

“I wondered how long it’d take you to get around to me.” DTR hissed at the

Chairman.

Lance took a seat opposite and folded his arms.

“Well, after what you did last week, how could you possibly be surprised?” Lance

asked. DTR’s head began to rise.

“After what I did?”

Lance gulps.

Mitch Law: “I’m not sure that’s the wisest move by our Chairman.”

Page 13: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

“What did you do?” DTR continues. “What did you do to punish Alpha and Omega,

huh? Where was my phone call? When I was laying in a hospital bed with my face

half melted off, where was my apology, my compensation? Where were you?”

Ryan Johnson: “I think I agree. Lance shouldn’t be in there alone with DTR.”

“I’m sorry Dave but I don’t have to answer to you,” Lance retorts carefully. The

Virus begins to chuckle, his chest lifting with every laugh. “It’s you that has to

answer to me. I don’t want you running around here setting people on fire. There’s

been enough burning flesh for one lifetime, don’t you think?”

That comment riles up The Virus almost instantly. DTR jumps from sitting to

standing and grabs Lance Norman, ramming him against the lockers. The Chairman

doesn’t know what to do with himself and only hopes that DTR doesn’t do to him what he did to Jensen Cussen.

Mitch Law: “I told you that Lance was in the wrong place with the wrong man. We

need someone back there before he ends up in the same situation as Jensen.”

“I left a name off my list earlier,” DTR says whilst gripping Norman tightly, his head

titled. “Do you know that? It was your name, Lance. The last time we want to war, I

almost destroyed this company. Now I’ll tell you like I told your son, I’m going to

burn it to the ground.”

DTR throws Lance backwards and steps away, taking a seat again on the floor. The

Chairman straightens himself out and carefully heads towards the exit, clearly shaken

up.

Mitch Law: “I don’t like the sound of this. DTR is going to burn this company to the

ground? I mean, he’s clearly lost it.”

ETHAN ELLIOTT TOMMY KING

VS

This already heated rivalry continued earlier tonight when Ethan Elliott once again

upset poor Tommy Carlos King who didn’t even wait for the bell before attacking. He

ran straight to the ring, slid in and went to work with right hands, pummelling the holy

hell out of Elliott before the referee managed to separate them and call for the bell.

DING DING DING!

As instantly as the bell rung, King was back on the attack, launching himself across

the ring with a forearm that stumbled Ethan back into the ropes. Tommy had

completely lost it and was tearing chunks out of his opponent, punching him with

everything he had until the referee had to once again pull him away. It was that

distraction that allowed Ethan to recover and when Tommy had finally gotten away

from the referee, he walked straight into a running Clothesline.

Elliott angrily began stomping down on King, refusing to let him get back up and get

back on the assault as the fans boo’s echoed throughout the arena. Ethan wanted to

keep him grounded and dropped an Elbow across his back, transitioning quickly into a

grounded headlock. The fans willed Tommy to get out of it and he did, turning over and getting back to his feet, dropping Elliott with a Back Drop.

Angry didn’t begin to describe the emotions King was feeling though and he didn’t

cover, but instead went back to work with right hands. He mounted Elliott, punching

away at him viciously until for the third time, the referee dragged him away and

Page 15: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

warned him about being Disqualified for punching with a closed fist. Tommy looked

at his nemesis from across the ring, watching as he crawled back to one knee with a

laughing smile across his face.

That was it. That was enough to send him into a frenzy. Tommy stormed across the

ring with a Big kick to the skull of Double E as he rested on his knee, almost taking

his head off. He dropped down into another mount and began punching the living hell

out of him. The referee had finally had enough and called for the bell.

DING DING DING!

As the referee once again rushed back over to pull Tommy from Elliott, Ron Hayes

stood up to announce that the referee had Disqualified Tommy Carlos King and the

winner was therefore Ethan Elliott. Elliott slid to the outside with a busted lip and

laughed his way up the entrance ramp as the referee fought with all his might to restrain poor King inside the ring.

Tommy may of gotten a measure of revenge tonight but the mind games paid

dividends for Ethan Elliott ahead of Soul Survivor.

KEEPING WELL

The scene cuts backstage and we find Kaylyn James Evans and Tyler Brooks in a very

bad way, beaten down and hurting in every sense of the word. Tyler looks across at Kaylyn with worry on his face.

“Are you going to be ok? Do you need me to get you anything?”

Mitch Law: “That’s nice of him.”

“No, thank you. You don’t need to be worrying about me Tyler, you need to take care

of yourself.”

Ryan Johnson: “Ain’t that the truth!”

“I don’t give a damn about how hurt I am, that asshole Jeckel is going to pay tonight

whether I’m hurt or not. I’ve been worse off than this.”

Kaylyn looks distraught.

Page 16: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

“Well you should damn it! IF you try and go after him, you risk losing Soul Survivor.”

“To hell with that!”

Tyler stands up with a grimace.

“I don’t give a damn what Jeckel has planned, I’m not going to let him just cheap shot

me, you, anyone and get away with it!”

“Tyler, listen to me! You need to think of the bigger picture here. Let that bastard

have his day. You’ll have your chance next week.” Tyler mulls it over for a moment before responding.

“Ok. I’ll let it be, but if he pulls anything again before Soul Survivor there’s nothing

anyone can do to keep from tearing him apart.”

Kaylyn nods with a smile as Tyler shakes head in frustration and leaves the room.

Ryan Johnson: “That’s a smart decision on his part, wouldn’t want Jeckel to mess up

that pretty face.”

Suddenly, the door opens again and Jake Jeckel comes into the room with a sinister

smile on his face.

Mitch Law: “This doesn’t look good.”

“How ya feelin Kaylyn?”

His smirk gets wider and wider as he speaks, but catching him off guard, she stands

up and slaps him across the face.

“Oh ya baby, I like it rough. You and me, we can do that any time anywhere, but for

now I just wanted to tell you thanks for keeping that bitch Tyler at bay. I want that

bastard ready at Soul Survivor and when he’s eliminated first, it’ll be history.”

Jake chuckles to himself, winking at Kaylyn and exits the room.

Mitch Law: “Well that was fairly ominous.”

Ryan Johnson: “And awesome at the same time!”

LYRA MAXIMUS

VS

Page 17: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

The match has started as The Magnificent stands in the middle of the ring, wanting to

shake Lyra’s hand. There is some hesitation considering what she’s been through but

she shakes his hand regardless but he pulls her into him and into a Scoop Slam!

Maximus raises his hands, feeling very proud of getting one over Lyra. Maximus goes to grab Lyra but The Starchild rolls The Magnificent into a roll-up!

One … Two .. THR – Kickout!

Close one! Both get up quickly but Maximus is slightly quicker, laying Lyra out with

a right hand to her face. The boos are raining down on Maximus as he is showing her

no mercy. Maximus grabs Lyra by her hair and then hits a Suplex and floats over into a pin-cover.

One … Two …

The Magnificent picks Lyra’s head up off the mat, cockily. You can see Lyra is in

pain as Maximus begins picking her up to her feet but The Starchild begins kicking all

over Maximus that sends him on wobbly feet and finally lands a Dropkick directly to

his face! They both get up quickly as Lyra lands another Dropkick! She’s feeling it

now! Maximus is near the ropes, helping himself up by using the ropes as Lyra

attempts to come near him to grab him but Maximus with a Eye Rake! The crowd

begins chanting …

Page 18: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

“Maximus Sucks! Maximus Sucks!”

It gets loud and is hard to ignore as a big grin grows across his face, loving the

reaction. The Magnificent grabs Lyra but she pushes him away with all her strength.

CLOTHESLINE! NO! She ducks! Spinning Heel kick! Nailed it! She sends Maximus

off his feet as she looks to make her way up the turnbuckle, climbing to the top for the

Orion Eclipse … She’s about to hit it but Maximus moves out of the way and out of

the ring. Lyra then switches gears … SHOOTING STAR PRESS ONTO MAXIMUS TO THE OUTSIDE!

A Holy Shit chant breaks out!

Lyra grabs a handful of his tights, rolling him back into the ring. She gets in and goes for a pinfall.

One … Two … THR – NOOO! Shoulder up!

Lyra looks exhausted but she continues on. She begins picking up Maximus but he

quickly rakes her eyes, grabs her head into a headlock … Beverley Hills Bulldog!

Both are not moving all too much right now. Both are slowly getting back to their feet

and Maximus throws a right hand at Lyra which she ducks, wraps her arm around

Maximus’ head and nails a perfect Tilt – a – Whirl DDT! Lyra is going to attempt and

try it again. She climbs to the top rope, brushing her hair out of her face …

ORION ECLIPSE!

GOODNIGHT! One! Two! THREE! Ding! Ding! Ding!

Astral body – Between the Buried and Me hits as Lyra is too tired to stand, just

kneeling while having her hand raised by the Referee. The Starchild rolls out of the ring, walking towards the back as Maximus gets attended to.

FOR THE PEOPLE

Page 19: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

The beginning guitar solo from Little Texas’ “God Bless Texas” begins pouring over

the speakers as Frank Harrison steps out from behind the entrance curtain and onto the

entrance ramp.

Mitch Law: “I wonder what this is all about?”

Ryan Johnson: “Maybe he’s mad you didn’t vote for him Mitch.”

Mitch Law: “There was no vote even held for anything!”

Ryan Johnson: “You’re just clueless, Mitch, just clueless.” Harrison obtains his microphone and begins to speak sternly.

“Last week, I was utterly humiliated on a grand scale by a vile human being. I’d even

go so far as to say it was an act of terror against myself and what I stand for!”

Mitch Law: “Is he talking about the slime bucket?”

Ryan Johnson: “I would assume so.”

“This midget of a man must be unquestionably held accountable for his heinous acts

against not just me, but each and every one of you!” The boos get louder as he speaks.

“I am YOUR wrestling representative and any act of violence, terrorism, or anything

else against me afflicts you just the same. This man cannot, and will not be allowed to

commit these acts any longer because at Soul Survivor, when YOUR representative

achieves his greatest victory to date, I’ll make sure to hold that smug bastard’s head

on a platter!”

The boo’s turn to cheers as the acoustic guitar strummed opening of “Midnight

Rider,” by the Allman Brothers kicks off a set of jeers from the crowd. As the lyrics

begin with, “WELL I’VE GOT TO RUUUUUUUUUUN TO KEEP FROM HIDIN,’”

Cowboy Jim Jenkins steps out in jeans, a 10 gallon, black cowboy hat and a shiny belt

buckle that looks like the IWF World Championship. He’s holding a microphone and

as his music dies, he begins to speak.

Mitch Law: “I think someone has something to say about that!”

“You know, I hate politicians. Them bastards only care bout themselves, and you ain’t

no different! You’re just as slimy and as scummy as the rest of those assholes and if

you didn’t realize that after lookin’ in the mirror, maybe you should open your god

damn ears and hear all these boo’s!” The crowd goes nuts as Cowboy calls out Harrison.

“Those don’t sound like boo’s to me!”

Ryan Johnson: “Yeah, those aren’t boos!”

Mitch Law: “No, but they aren’t cheering for Harrison!”

“You know, you’re a real piece of work Mr. Smarty pants and I thought that maybe

I’d give it my all at Soul Survivor and show off my massive stature and ferocious

attributes, but I’m now makin’ it my only goal to eliminate you from that

competition!”

Page 20: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

Harrison puts his hand on his hip.

“Is that so?”

“Your God damn right that’s so!”

“Well let’s see how that’s going to play out then.”

Mitch Law: “What’s he talking about?”

Suddenly, Frank Harrison’s goons come out behind Cowboy and begin laying waste

to him on stage as the boo’s begin to fill the arena once more.

Mitch Law: “That isn’t fair!”

Ryan Johnson: “Well if he’s such a big guy, he should be able to handle a couple of

guys in a suit!”

The goons continue to beat on Cowboy until Harrison waves for them to bring him to

the ring. They drag Cowboy to ringside and roll him in. Harrison picks Cowboy up,

scooping him up onto his shoulder and walks over to the side of the ring smiling. He

waves to “his people” and tosses Cowboy over the top rope, his body slamming into the concrete below.

Mitch Law: “This is just despicable.” Harrison picks his microphone back up.

“That, ladies and gentlemen is what will transpire at Soul Survivor and YOUR

wrestling representative will be named the number one contender for the World

Championship! I’ll not only do it for me, but for THE PEOPLE!”

He slams down the microphone and prepares himself for a match that he has coming

up next against Erin Toyota.

ERIN TOYOTA FRANK HARRISON

VS

Page 21: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

Erin Toyota stood across the ring from Frank Harrison, watching carefully as his

Agent’s circled the outside. Frank looked at her with a wry smile, expecting this one to be nothing short of another W for the win column.

DING DING DING!

The bell sounded and Frank stepped forward to offer her a handshake, his pearly

whites on show to try and entice her in. She naively outstretched her own hand to

meet him and was quickly grabbed into a sharp knee to the mid-section. That set the

fans off as Harrison slammed her with another, dropping her to her knees. The

Wrestling Representative pulled her straight from the canvas and into a Knife Edge

Chop, dropping her this time on her back. He stood there, hands on hips, posing for

the crowd.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

They didn’t like that and neither did Toyota, who was quickly back to her feet and

launching a frenzied attack of kicks. Shots to the thighs, shins and legs stumbled

Harrison and eventually took him down to one knee. The fans were entirely behind

Erin as she ran off to the ropes and was leg tripped by Agent Benson, slamming her face first into the canvas. Frank rolled over and rushed into the cover.

ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!

Page 22: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

He got back to his feet and grabbed her by the hair, whipping her hard across the ring

with an Irish Whip and then following in, looking for a Clothesline. NO! Erin side

stepped it and after watching him impact chest first into the turnbuckle, used all her

strength for a Back Body Drop! The fans are on their feet again, cheering her on as

Harrison hazily gets back to his feet. He turns around, looking for Toyota, but she’s

no-where to be seen. That’s because she’s climbed the turnbuckles and when he finally spots her-

DOUBLE AXE HANDLE SMASH!

OHHHHHHHHHHHH! She drops down into the cover.

ONE! TWO! KICK OUT!

That isn’t going to do it. Toyota has to put this one away and gets back to her feet.

Agent Benson is quickly on the ring apron, hoping that his involvement will stop her

in her tracks. Erin storms across the ring and connects with a Dropkick, launching him

off the ring apron. Agent Charles rushes over to assist his friend, the referee telling them both that he’s watching. Toyota turns around and-

LANDSLIDE VICTORY!! NO!

The distraction almost paid dividends because when Erin turned around, Harrison was

up and waiting with the F5. He scooped her up but she wisely dropped down-

BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!! WHAT A KICK TO THE SKULL!

Harrison drops like a sack of potatoes and Erin rushes to cover.

ONE! TWO! THREE!

The bell sounds as “Bulletproof” begins to play again. Erin gets back to her feet and stumbles into the ropes, tiredly having pulled out the victory here tonight.

EXECUTIVE DECISION

We head into the office of Lance Norman, who’s sat behind his desk looking over

some official paperwork. In seats on the opposite side are Lyra, Kevin Hope, Rick

Plant and Brian Spencer. Lance flicks through some paperwork and then turns his attention to the quintet sat in front of him.

“I’d like to thank all parties for joining me here tonight on this extremely busy show

ahead of Soul Survivor. I’ve been reviewing the case information set forth by Mr.

Hope and Mr. Spencer and will today come to a decision regarding claims of sexual

harassment. I want to warn you now that if I find Rick Plant to be guilty of the

accusations made, he will be under immediate suspension and will miss Soul

Survivor.”

Mitch Law: “Can you believe this? Rick Plant could be suspended.”

Ryan Johnson: “He deserves it after everything he’s done.”

Rick immediately looks to Brian with a shocked expression, whilst Kevin smirks arrogantly.

“Rick, in your own words, can you explain what’s happened over the past two

months?” Lance asks.

Mr. Spencer nods at Rick and suggests that he do exactly that.

“It’s really very simple. I saw a woman being manipulated and used by someone else

and I tried to help. You’ve seen the footage Lance, you’ve seen the real footage that

depicts his lying, conniving and manipulation,” Rick suggests. Lance doesn’t agree or

disagree, he simply folds his arms. “You’ve seen how I didn’t really attack him,”he

says pointing to Kevin. Lyra looks at him in shock, unaware that everything has been

a ploy. “You’ve seen how he screwed me out of my Warzone Championship and

you’ve seen that I have never, not once, sexually harassed Lyra.”

Mitch Law: “That’s the truth, Lance.”

Ryan Johnson: “No it isn’t. It’s just more lies.”

Page 24: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

“That’s bullshit!” Kevin suddenly intervenes, the smile no longer on his face. “How

can you trust any footage delivered to you by this man? Rick Plant is an animal. He’s

a sexist pig that has tried to molest and harass my client on numerous occasions.”

The accusation of molestation is quick to draw Rick out of his seat. Brian quickly stands up to grab him, demanding that he sit back down. Lance interrupts.

“Enough, enough!” he yells to try and simmer everything down. “I’ve heard enough.

Mr. Hope, you have failed to show adequate proof that Rick has done anything of the

sort. In fact, from the evidence I’ve had given to me by my own technicians at the

request of Mr. Spencer, it proves the opposite. So here’s what I’m going to do. At Soul

Survivor, it’ll be Rick Plant vs. Lyra for the Warzone Championship,” he says to a

roar from the crowd and a groan from Kevin. “And if you get involved, Mr. Hope, you

will face Rick Plant in a match. You will step into the ring and I will let him officially

get his hands on you.”

Mitch Law: “I told you! I told you he was lying and that Lance Norman would find

out the truth.”

Ryan Johnson: “I can’t believe it.”

Kevin’s eyes widen as Rick begins to grin sadistically. Lyra meanwhile turns to Kevin

and shakes her head.

“You did all this? But why?”

“I’ll explain later, I promise.”

And with that, all parties dispersed. This time next week, Rick Plant will get a

rematch for a Warzone Championship that he truly deserves. Will Kevin Hope get

involved? Or will we finally get to see a battle that we’ve been waiting to see for months.

MAX MILLION COWBOY JIM JENKINS

VS

Page 25: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

The bell sounded and this one got right underway. MNM and Cowboy Jim Jenkins

circle the center of the ring, both looking for the window of opportunity – although

Million does look somewhat distracted. They lock horns and it’s MNM with the first

bit of offense as he whipped Jenkins off towards the ropes and upon his return,

planted those boots right into Jenkins’ chest for a dropkick! Both men roll back to their feet rather quickly and begin the exchange of right and left hands.

The two battle back and forth until it’s Cowboy Jim who gets the upper hand. He fires

away with a series of right hands that stumble MNM back against the ropes. A quick

rake to the eyes leaves MNM blinded, allowing Jenkins to send a stiff kick to the gut. He hooked the head quickly.

DDT! Jim Jenkins goes for the quick cover, placing his legs on the bottom rope.

One..Two..NO!

MNM powers out of the pinning attempt. Both men are back to their feet but it’s

Jenkins who clubs MNM in the mouth with a hard forearm shot! Once again, he goes

for the boot to the gut, but MNM is quick about his wits this time around and catches

Jenkins’ boot in mid-air. Jenkins stumbles a second before leaping off the canvas with his free leg, looking for the Enziguri..

Page 26: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

NOBODY HOME! MNM managed to duck the Enziguri, allowing Jenkins to crash to

the canvas.. one of his legs still within the graps of his opponent. MNM shows great

match awareness here as he spins around and sits into a Single Leg Boston Crab!

AGH! Jenkins is clawing at the mat as he attempts to reach for that bottom rope, all

the while whailing in pain. After a much intense struggle, Jenkins is able to find the bottom rope and force the hold to be broken.

MNM drops the leg and creates the seperation that is required, but no sooner than

Jenkins’ was back to his feet, Million was on the attack yet again! Right hand! Left

Hand! The Cowboy’s attempting to fight back though. Right hand! Left hand! Right

hand by Max Million! And another! AND ANOTHE-NO! Cowboy Jim manages to

duck right under that wildly thrown right hand, causing Million to spin right into the graps of a..

BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! Yes! Jenkins is looking for the finish here as he goes

for Million’s legs. Max is doing his best to make it difficult and kicks out of it,

pushing Jenkins away. Instead of getting back to his feet, Max just slides to the

outside and begins to storm up the entrance ramp, leaving the match and Jenkins in the ring.

The fans have no idea how to respond or what’s going on as the referee counts him

out, calling for the bell and giving the match to Cowboy Jim Jenkins via countout. What’s Max’s problem?

AN ACT OF GOD

We catch up to Max Million who having just walked out on his match, is heading

towards the exit of the backstage area. He has quickly gotten his things together and

whilst everyone else looks on, Jackson Miller rushes towards him, wanting to know what happened out there.

“Max?” he yells behind him. “Max, dude, what the hell?”

Page 27: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

Mitch Law: “My sentiments exactly.”

Ryan Johnson: “He’s leaving the arena, isn’t he?”

Million doesn’t stop and just keeps walking. Jackson finally runs ahead of him and stands in his way, blocking his exit.

“Get out of my way Jackson, I have to go,” Million demands, trying to side step his

friend and Tag Team partner who refuses. “I mean it, move.”

“Just tell me why you walked out of your match, man. I don’t understand it?”

“Look, I received this today,” he says pulling a photograph of Robert from his pocket

and handing it to Miller. “It was attached to documents that proved that someone

working for my charity dedicated to Robert has been embezzling funds.”

Mitch Law: “Holy crap, that’s why he couldn’t focus on his match?”

Ryan Johnson: “I hate to say it but that makes sense.”

“Shit!” Jackson replies. “Do you know who? Wait,” it occurs to him. “How do you

even know that?”

“Because someone sent me these documents, Jackson. Someone knows what’s going

on and they want me to stop it,” Max proclaims, his eyes teary eyed from the obvious

emotional impact of something so devastating. “So I’m going to go and stop it.”

Max tries to walk off again but Miller again stops him.

“How do you even know it’s legitimate?”

“Don’t you get it?” MNM shouts. “This is like an act of God. Someone out there is

protecting Robert’s memory, protecting me and what I care about. Someone went out

of their way to send me this information because it matters to me. If you can’t see that

then we have nothing else to talk about.”

This time Million storms off down the corridor and towards the exit. Jackson

meanwhile is left behind with a gaping mouth, shocked that his friend has treated him this way. He yells out towards him, but hears nothing in response.

“What about us? What about the Tag Team Championships at Soul Survivor?”

Mitch Law: “There’s trouble in paradise for the Tag Team Champions. I don’t know

about you, but Max isn’t currently in any frame of mind to compete next Sunday.”

Ryan Johnson: “Which means that Maximum Effect have the opportunity of a

lifetime.”

NEVILLE SHELDON COLE SCORPIO

VS

The crowd clearly behind Sheldon during the introductions, giving him a standing

ovation – a level of respect that was clearly not shared by Scorpio. They locked up,

with Scorpio slapping on a tight side headlock, grinding his knuckle into the skull of

his opponent in an almost ‘noogie’ before shoving Sheldon down to the canvas. The

crowd boos loudly, drawing a smirk from the Detroit Dragon, but Sheldon’s intense stare remains as he gets back to his feet, straightening his hair.

Another lockup, and again Scorpio slaps on a headlock… but this time Sheldon is able

to reverse into a hammerlock. Scorpio with a back elbow to break the hold, and he hits

the ropes… and runs right into an armdrag from Sheldon! And another! And a

standing dropkick from the former World Champion! Sheldon on fire, and he hits the

ropes for momentum… but Cole swings with a clothesline… no, crucifix from

Neville! Into the pin!

One!… Two!… THREE!!!

…NNNNO!! Scorpio barely able to kick out, and Neville nearly put this away in

record time! Sheldon smiling faintly, tapping his temple as he gets back up. Scorpio

looks enraged, and charges in… drop toehold! Sheldon using his quickness, and

Scorpio scrambles up again… and a boot to the gut from the Geek! Sheldon to the

ropes, and leaps for a sunset flip… but he can’t get Scorpio down! Neville kicking his legs, trying to…

“OOOOOOOOOOOHHHH!!”

…DOUBLE STOMP!! Scorpio leaping into the air, driving both feet down HARD

into Neville’s chest! And he just turned this match around in a major way! Scorpio

drags Sheldon up, paint-brushing him with a series of stiff slaps before hitting the ropes… and nearly DECAPITATING him with a thunderous lariat!! And the cover!

One!… Two!… ThrNO!!

The crowd cheers as Sheldon wriggles out, but Scorpio doesn’t let up, dragging him

up with a handful of hair… and putting him RIGHT back down with a crisp belly to

back suplex! And another cover!

One!… Two!… ThrNO!!

Sheldon kicks out again, much to Scorpio’s frustration. He keeps up the attack,

bringing Sheldon to his feet and forcing him down into a standing headscissors… and

a Tiger Bomb! NO!! HURRACANRANA from Sheldon! What a reversal, and both

men scramble up, charging in… GEEK OUT!! Sheldon hits the flying neckbreaker

out of nowhere! And the cover!

One!… Two!… ThreeNO!!

The crowd gasps as Scorpio rolls the shoulder, before erupting into a “Shel-don! Shel-

don!” chant. The Geek waits for Scorpio to rise, before scooping him up and planting

him with a hard slam! He cups his hand to his ear, playing to the crowd before hitting

the ropes…

“BOOOOOOOOOO!!!”

…NNNO! Nobody home on the Wrestlemania attempt! And Scorpio scrambles back

to his feet! Sheldon up, clutching his tailbone… and Scorpio blasts him across the head with an eardrum-bursting palm strike!

*BOOM!*

…DETROIT TIGER SUPLEX!! What impact!! And he holds on with the bridge! One!… two!… THREE!!

**DING! DING! DING!**

Scorpio wins! What a huge win for the IWF newcomer! The crowd seem almost

shocked as the Detroit Dragon rolls out of the ring, leaving Sheldon to slowly stagger back up in the ring, clutching the side of his head.

LOOKING FOR ANSWERS

When we arrive in the backstage area, we’re surprised to see an angry Corey Black

storming down the halls towards the locker rooms. When he arrives at Rick Mad’s, he

catches Rick just exiting and stops dead in his tracks – not because Rick has scared him, but because Rick is wearing an NFL helmet and shoulder pads.

“What the hell?” Corey asks upon setting eyes on his former Tag Team Partner and a

man that he brutally assaulted. Rick looked confused at first and then realized what he meant.

“Oh the attire? With the amount of time I spend unsuccessfully dodging your elbows,

I thought it would be a good idea to protect myself,” Rick says to a roaring laugh from

the crowd. “Hence the football gear.” Corey didn’t find him amusing, after all, he didn’t come here for that.

“You sent me a package last week that said I couldn’t win Soul Survivor without you.

What kind of mind games are you playing, huh?”

Mitch Law: “I think the look on Rick Mad’s face says it all. He doesn’t know

anything about a package.”

Page 31: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

“A package? Do you really think that after what you did to me, I’m going to send you

a delightful package?” he questions with a chuckle. Corey steps forward and eyeballs

him. “No, I’m not going to do that. Instead, I’m going to make it my mission to make

sure that you don’t win Soul Survivor. How am I going to do that? In the ring,

Corey.”

Mad looks him up and down before shaking his head. Corey thinks about it for a

minute and clearly believes Rick, which again, only leads to more confusion. Mad

walks off unharmed down the corridor, but when Corey turns around to leave, he bumps into Joshua Pine.

Both men stare each other down, looking intensely at the other and not budging even one inch.

“I know what’s bothering you, I’ve seen it,” Pine proclaims. “I’ve seen everything.”

Mitch Law: “This guy really does think he’s some kind of God, doesn’t he?”

Ryan Johnson: “Praise Da Kultur!”

“It’s all leading to a grander purpose, Corey. What’s happening to you is the

beginning of the next phase and I can accept that, I accept you for what you are and

will always be.”

Pine puts his arm around the shoulder of Black and leads him down the corridor,

talking to him as he does. About what? No-one quite knows.

Mitch Law: “The one thing Corey Black doesn’t need is to be poisoned by a guy like

Pine. He’s already in a bad way and listening to Joshua could only make matters

worse.”

Ryan Johnson: “Don’t you dare speak about God like that!”

Mitch Law: “Give me a break, RJ.”

KAYLYN EVANS RAIN

VS

Page 32: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

The Soul Taker stands in the middle of the ring as KJE cautiously enters, not taking

her eye of Rain for a second. Rain just looks down on Kaylyn expressionless as KJE

looks up, clearly nervous about facing the world champion, especially after the attack

from Jake Jeckel one week ago. None the less, she stands tall, determined to fight against the odds once more as she always has.

DING! DING! DING!

The bell rings and KJE comes out swinging, landing fast rights and lefts in hope to

stagger the Soul Taker. The blows, although fast and furious, seem to barely affect the

monster as after a massive right hand which seems to have been delivered with all the

power Kaylyn could muster that twists Rain’s head around, Rain turns slowly, barely

having been moved, staring seemingly straight into Kaylyn’s soul with his dark, cold

eyes. Kaylyn backs away in shock for a moment but quickly composes herself, trying

another tactic as she runs to the ropes, bouncing off with a clothesline that moves Rain only a few inches.

Kaylyn tries again, bouncing off the ropes with a hard dropkick that actually staggers

the Soul Taker, KJE smiles as she tries again, running full forward off the ropes right

into a decapitating Big Boot! Kaylyn hits the mat hard, her neck snapping back from

the force of the boot. Undeterred, Kaylyn slowly pulls herself off the mat, right into

the waiting arms of the Soul Taker, who picks her up and lifts her high into the air,

Page 33: I’m “No “Iewzine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IWF-Warzone-90.pdf · return to action for the first time since he was horrifying burned by Alpha and Omega. Suddenly the arena

throwing her down to the mat with a ring shaking Body Slam. Rain drops down, covering KJE with a simple lateral press

ONE! T-Kickout!

Rain powers KJE up to her feet, sending her powering across the ring. As she

rebounds, Rain attempts a clothesline, but KJE just has enough presence of mind to

duck under, rolling Rain up as she does

ONE! TWO!-Kickout!

KJE gets to her feet and is flipped nearly 360 degrees in the air by a huge jumping

clothesline from Rain, obviously annoyed with the near fall. Kaylyn gets punished

with several hard shots to the abdomen, flinching in pain with each one. Following a

hard knee to the gut, Rain grabs Kaylyn by the throat, throwing her over his head in a

Beyond Good and Evil Eyes attempt, but Kaylyn manages to grab hold of the

turnbuckle, pulling herself up and as the Soul Taker turns around, she dives off with a

huge Double Knee to the chest of Rain, putting the Soul Taker on the mat.

The crowd start to chant KJE’s name as she signals for the end, grabbing Rain as he

gets to his feet by the head in a Crusher attempt. Just as Kaylyn spins around, Rain

throws her off with tremendous strength. Kaylyn lands on her feet and rushes back

towards Rain but the Soul Taker was ready for her

HUGE SOUL PUNCH!

KJE drops to the mat, holding her chest in pain as the Soul Taker raises his hand high

in the air, signalling for the To Dust. Rain patiently waits for Kaylyn to get to her feet

and as she slowly staggers up, she walks right into the titan like grip of Rain, which

clutches her high into the air, and turns her, slamming her down

TO DUST!
