Brian Jones is Emeritus Director of Music andOrganist at Trinity Church, Copley Square, where hedirected a highly acclaimed music program for twentyyears. He is active as a guest conductor, organ soloartist, and visiting artist, and has appeared in CT, MD,SC, KY, NM, as well as in New England, Canada, andMexico. He has performed in many of the great uni-versities and cathedrals of the United States andEngland, and his playing and conducting have beenheard on NPR and the BBC. Critic David Verniercalled the Trinity Choir under his leadership "one ofNorth America's finest choral ensembles," and hisrecordings on the London-Polygram, Gothic, Dorianand AFKA labels are highly-regarded internationally.Since 2004, he has filled interim positions at theCathedral of St John, Albuquerque, New Mexico; OldSouth Church in Boston; and Memorial Church,
Harvard University, All Saints Church, Worcester; andat Christ Church, Alexandria, VA. He is a graduate ofOberlin College Conservatory of Music, BostonUniversity, where his mentors included HaskellThomson (organ), Robert Fountain, (choral conductingand voice), Inda Howland(eurythmics) and HermannGenhart (orchestral con-ducting). He lives inBoston, and in his sparetime enjoys reading, travel,time with his family andfriends, sailing, and drivinghis antique car, a 1933Chrysler Royal 8 CT RumbleSeat Coupe.www.brianjonesmusic.com
Christian Lane is Assistant University Organistand Choirmaster at Harvard University. Acclaimedfor his “driving energy and mature interpretation(The American Organist),” Mr. Lane has quicklyestablished himself as one of the country’s mostaccomplished young organists by earning first prizein four major American organ competitions beforereaching his twenty-first birthday. In addition, heearned both second prize and the coveted audienceprize at the 2004 American Guild of Organists
National Young Artists Competition (NYACOP),widely considered to be the country’s preeminentcontest in this field. He holds a Bachelor’s degreeand the Sacred Music Diploma from the EastmanSchool of Music, where his mentor and teacher wasProfessor David Higgs. Subsequently, he completedgraduate work with Prof. Thomas Murray as aRobert Baker Scholar at Yale University, earning aMaster’s degree from the Yale School of Music anda certificate from Yale’s Institute of Sacred Music.

Founded in 2006, The Copley Singers are asemi-professional and dedicated group ofcolleagues who gather on numerous occasions eachyear to perform together. Many of the membershave sung at Trinity Church, Copley Square,Boston. The group performs at a high standardwhich is informed by their great love of choralsinging and their belief in its communicative power.The group has performed throughout New England,including programs in Boston, Cambridge,
Plymouth, Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha'sVineyard. They have performed with the HarvardUniversity Choir, and they were invited to sing withthe Ensemble Singers of Bermuda in a 400thanniversary celebration of the island’s founding. InSeptember 2011 they represented Massachusetts atthe “9/11” tenth-anniversary commemorativeconcerts at Trinity Church, Wall Street, and werecritically acclaimed by the New York Times.www.copleysingers.org
