I thought it was a drought too 1. A death experience: Paul says, “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4. 2. The new birth: “The new birth is a rare experience in this age of the world. This is the reason why there are so many perplexities in the churches. Many, so many, who assume the name of Christ are unsanctified and unholy. They have been baptized, but they were buried alive. Self-did not die, and therefore they did not rise to newness of life in Christ.” 3. Kill the corrupt thought: Here is how this death takes place in the believer. The lower passions have their seat in the body and work through it. The words flesh or fleshly or carnal lusts refer to the lower nature. We are commanded to crucify the flesh, with the affections and lusts. How? By inflicting pain on the body? No. What I want to do is to put to death the temptation to sin. 4. The maze of feelings: In order to reinforce his claim that the death experience is not real, Satan tries to get the Christian to live more and more in his feelings rather than by his faith. He simply uses perfectly rational reasoning and says, “If the old nature were dead, you would not have been tempted.” 5. A lightening from heaven: God must be served from principle instead of from feeling . Faith is ours to exercise. Believe, believe. Let your faith take hold of the blessing, and it is yours. Your feelings have nothing to do with this faith. When faith brings the blessing to your heart, and you rejoice in the blessing, it is no more faith, but feeling.” Don’t ever think you can do it alone

• Don’t ever think you can do it alone • In the garden and not only there but in all aspects when Jesus was tempted he never

looked to himself, the sinless man did not look to himself but to his father • His disciples made that mistake but

6. God works first with the heart (mind) and his work is from inside outward Satan motivates our actions through the senses.

7. We must choose to believe God in spite of our feelings. I believe in him no you don't understand if you won't believe you can't get filled with his glory and honor you'll be empty that what's this chapter is saying someone say I believe.

• Let me close by reminding you; see, see when the Holy Spirit dwells inside of us the authority you receive should permit us to say to demons “look at the smile on me, look at the holy ghost in me, I do not chase the world, even though they run a mile for me!” Because with Jesus I got a really big team, I mean we’re some really big deals tell the devil you don’t need his big rings, you don’t need his nice things because they

come with so many strings. Hey! Jesus has a hotline Bling running and all we need to do is baptize to receive that blessing when we destroy that old sinful nature and accept him as Lord and Personal savior.

• If we could only say: Satan!? Satan? I'm-ma choose the Lord over you, you know I am not scared to lose you, the devil doesn’t like it when you’re telling the truth but I'd rather be realer than you. I’m working on having some manners; I’m thinking about it right now! I’m holding the Bible while I put up the hand, I put both my hands in air.

• Man, I see in fight club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy things we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very angry.

a. John 14:12 King James Version (KJV):Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
