I picked moose because I think moose are interesting
BACKGROUND A moose is a mammal. They can live for ten to
twenty years in it’s life.
MOOSE ANTLERS Moose have two huge antlers
to help protect them from other animals that attack.
Their height is 6.5 ft. and their weight is 1,800 lbs. and their length is 2.5 meters.
MOOSE DIET Moose have a herbivore
diet which means it only eats plants.
In the winter moose mostly eat shrubs and pine cones.
Moose drink mostly water.
MOOSE ADAPTATION
Moose have 4 hoofs that allow them to not sink in the deep snow in the winter.
MOOSE FACTS
Moose are the tallest mammal in North America.
A group of moose is called a Herd
MOOSE EXTINCTION
The moose are in danger because of increasing parasite, diseases, shorter winters and hunters.
