CHURCH FAMILY Linda Schnell was admitted to Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des

Moines, Friday, July 16. She had an angiogram on her leg to open blood flow to her foot on Sunday, July 18. Everything went well and she was able to return home Sunday evening.

Gilbert Van Maanen was admitted to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines on Saturday, July 17, as he had suffered a stroke. He is weak but im-proving. Please pray for his healing, recovery and strength.

CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY We extend our Christian sympathy to Caden & Brenna Dunsbergen

in the death of Brenna’s grandfather, Merlin “Mert” Van Wyk, age 68 who passed away Monday, July 19. Funeral services were held Fri-day, July 23 at Taintor Community Church.

We extend our Christian sympathy to Doyle & Karna Ver Ploeg in the death of Doyle’s sister, Darla Merwald, age 65 who passed away Wednesday, July 21. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Anderson Funeral Homes in Marshalltown. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 26, 2021 at St. Fran-cis of Assisi ~ St. Henry Catholic Church in Marshalltown.
